Presentation

In the things we have done lately we know what the person is doing in the picture.

Just like the teacher teaching. The verb there is teaching since it indicates what the

teacher is doing. I have here a sentence where you can identify the verb that describes

what the person is doing.

SINGULAR

The baker bakes everday.

The dressmaker makes a dress.

The janitor cleans the school.

The barber cuts hair.

PLURAl

The bakers bake bread every day.

The dressmakers make dresses.

The janitors clean the school.

The barbers cut hair.

We have already learn how to identify and analyze the picture by finding what

does the picture do. Good job! Class. The Things that we are doing in our life is what

we called Verb. Verb refers to what the person or animals either it is singular or

plural. Verbs or action words tell what we do. Verbs with -s are used for one person,

animal or things. Verbs without -s are used for more than one person, thing or

animal.

Discussion

Class Verb tells what we do everyday even the animal or things. The verb that

we are going to use depends on the sentence that we are going to make. Because,

Verbs with -s are used for one person, animal or things. Verbs without -s are used

for more than one person, thing or animal. Just like the example that I am going to

show you.

We are going to make a verb word translated in the pictures.

Generalization

Now we know if it is singular or plural in the sentence as we apply the Verb

or action word. Because the Verb describes and shows action from the situation

that identifies singular or plural form to form simple verb. The verb depends on

the subject that we are going to use in our sentence. Because a sentence will be

effective when we know and identify the subject to supplement the verb.
