What do you know about Technical Writing?

What do I know about Technical writing? Well for me just to be honest I don’t have any idea
about technical writing because for me writing is just writing well im writing because it is required,
writing because that’s what I really and writing just expressed, it’s for just what I’ve understand. For
me, Technical writing is a type of writing where the author write with some technicalities applied, it
is writing about a particular subject that requires direction, instruction, or explanation.

How is it important for you to establish your skills in Writing? Does it make a great impact to you and
in your field? Why?

It is important to establish my writing skill, developing my writings skills makes me me a goos writer
which can be an asset for me in the future, good writing skills are essential for the success in the
work place, with effective writing skills my message can be understtod by my peers, co-worker and
colleages in the better way.

And as a future criminologist and future enforcer writing has a big role, Accurate and intelligent
reporting and documentation is crucial to Law Enforcement. Police officers spend a significant
amount of time completing paperwork necessary for the criminal justice process. An officer is most
often the first point of contact in a criminal situation, and having professional writing skills is
imperative to creating a thorough, well-written report such as blotter. The popular notion nowadays
regarding police work is that it is all about action and high-speed pursuits. However, a less frequently
mentioned aspect of police work is documentation in the form of police report writing but it serves
as one of the most important tools that a police officer can utilize to help them do their jobs. Police
report writing is important for a number of reasons, mainly because of the vast number of suspects
that police officers deal with on a daily basis. So it is virtually impossible for any police officer to
remember every detail of every case without making any notes.

How does this course or subject leads its role in your generation and in the context that we are in?

For the situation we have now as a student that we are at the midst of this world pandemic,
technical writing really had a big role for us specially for me, its not just it help me because myt
weakest area was on eglish grammar, writing and communication skills, it is because it helps me/ us
to grow and to developed. as we all know we’re at the generation that highly technical, advanced. If
we cannot or enhanced our and developed our writing and communications skills we are gonna left
behind. Technical writing serves as an essential tool in communicating or conveying one's ideas,
views, observations, instructions, and suggestions in a more logical and technical manner.
