Gauge:
31 sc x 33 rows = 4in(10cm).
Gauge is not critical for this project. You can use any yarn to make this doll. For example, if you use a
bigger hook and a suitable yarn, the doll will be bigger while maintaining the same proportions.
Pattern notes:
Always mark BOR to avoid shifting of the pattern.
All pieces are worked in a continuous spiral; do not join with sl st unless otherwise stated.

With yarn A start to work in rnds (work on both sides of the chain).
Rnd 1: ch7.
Rnd 2 (INC): 2sc in next st, sc in next 4 sts, 3sc in next st, sc in next 5 sts (14 sts).
Rnd 3 (INC): 2sc in next 2 sts, sc in next 4 sts, 2sc in next 3 sts, sc in next 4 sts , 2sc in next st (20 sts).
Rnd 4(INC): 2sc in next 4 sts, sc in next 4 sts, 2sc in next 6 sts, sc in next 4 sts, 2sc in next 2 sts (32 sts).
Rnd 5: sc in every st (32 sts).
Rnd 6 (INC): [sc in next st, 2sc in next st] 4 times, sc in next 4 sts, [sc in next st, 2sc in next st] 6 times, sc

Make a sole using a soft plastic (you can use plastic file folder), mark it (see fig.5), then make it 1mm
smaller (see fig.6) and cut it (see fig.7).

Rnds 9-11: sc in every st (44 sts).
Piece should look like as it's shown on fig.10. Place plastic sole inside the piece (see fig.11).

With yarn C make a magic ring.

Join legs:
Insert a cotter pin at level of rnd 7 to fix legs evenly, see fig.18-21, insert disk from the inside of body to
fix cotter pin:
Bend a cotter pin using pliers as it's shown below.

Rnd 15: work BLO, sc in every st (48 sts).

Rnd 30 (DEC): [sc in next 6 sts, sc2tog] 6 times (42 sts).
Stuff body firmly.
Fasten off and change to yarn C.
Fasten off and change to yarn B.
Rnd 40 (DEC): [sc in next st, sc2tog] 6 times (12 sts).
Stuff body firmly.
Rnd 49 (DEC): [sc2tog] 6 times.
Bind off and fasten off. Weave in all ends. See fig.28.

Skirt (bottom part):
Join yarn B at rnd 15 level. See fig.29.

Sewing arms:
Use a dental floss and a needle.
Insert the needle to one arm, see fig.43, then pull it through the body and the 2nd arm, see fig.44. Then
bring the needle out from the opposite side. Rep 2-3 more times. Make a knot, cut the floss and weave
in ends.

Hair:
Base:
With yarn B make a magic ring.
Rnds 15-16: sc in every st (60 sts), see fig.46
Do not cut yarn.
Curls:
Ch30, then sc back, join with sl st to base, [sc in next 7 sts of the base, ch30, sc back to the base] 2 times.
Fasten off, see fig.47.
Hairstyle (upper piece):

With yarn B make a magic ring.
Fasten off. Stuff the piece, see fig.48-49.
Put base on the head placing curls at center back, see fig.50-51. Sew it to the head making visible
stitches in front to imitate bangs, see fig.52-53. Secure and weave in the end.
Now sew the upper piece placing it in the center, see fig.54-55. Then wrap yarn A around the piece, see
fig.56.
Bow (Make 2):

With yarn A ch10.
Rows 1-35: sc in every st starting from the 2nd st from the hook (9 sts), turn, see fig.57.
Fasten off leaving a long tail. Fold the piece in half and sew it, see fig.58, do not cut yarn. Then wrap tail
around the piece placing seam at center, see fig.59.
Rep for the 2nd bow. Sew one bow to the head.
Pointe shoe (Make 2):

With yarn B ch7. Then work from both sides of the chain.
Rnd 1 (INC): 2sc in next st, sc in next 4 sts, 3sc in next st, sc in next 4 sts, sc in next st (14 sts).
Rnd 2 (INC): [2sc in next st] 2 times, sc in next 4 sts, [2sc in next st] 3 times, sc in next 4 sts, sc in next st
(20 sts).
Rnd 3 (INC): [2sc in next st] 4 times, sc in next 4 sts, [2sc in next st] 6 times, sc in next 4 sts, [2sc in next
st] 2 times (32 sts).
Rnd 5 (INC): [sc in next st, 2sc in next st] 4 times, sc in next 4 sts, [sc in next st, 2sc in next st] 6 times, sc
in next 4 sts, [sc in next st, 2sc in next st] 2 times (44 sts).
Rnd 12 (DEC): sc in next 18 sts, [sc in next st, sc2tog] 6 times, sc in next 8 sts (38 sts).
Fasten off. Rep for the 2nd shoe.
Ties (Make 2):

Join yarn at back and ch69, then sc back to the base, fasten off. Join yarn with 4 sts in between and rep
for the 2nd tie, see fig.61-62. Wrap ties around leg as it’s shown on fig.63. Rep for the 2nd shoe.
Sew the 2nd bow at back as it’s shown on fig.64. The doll is ready.
