ADAPTATION TO THE NEW NORMAL – XXX POST

ENHANCED COMMUNITY QUARANTINE

In the next few weeks, every person in the National Capital Region (NCR) and some
other parts of the Philippines who are placed under Extended Enhanced Community
Quarantine until May 15, 2020 shall be expecting liberation.Thus, XXX is in support with
the government and across the world in fighting COVID-19.

The word “new normal” became the talk of the town and precautionary measures
should be considered once the lockdown is lifted.

Thus, _XXX__(Company Name)is adaptingto the New Normalwith following guidelines


and procedures in preventing possible transmission of the virus.

ENTERING THE FACILITY

STRICTLY NO MASK; NO ENTRY


All persons: employees, clients and other visitors that will enter the facility should
always wear mask. Any person who refuses to follow shall not be allowed to enter.

STANDARD BODY TEMPERATURE


All persons who will enter the facility shall not reach beyond the standard 37.5 Celsius
body temperature. Once scanned above the normal range, the guard on duty shall hold
the person upon entering until the HR personnel or Safety Officertalks to the person if
insisted.

WHEEL BATH PASSAGE


All types of vehicle which will enter the facility are required to pass on the wheel bath
side. These are soluble water with hygienic chemical preventing unnecessary virus that
my transfer upon entering.

Spray disinfectant will also be used as an alternative method once truck/container van
have difficulties in entering the side of wheel bath passage.

SOCIAL/PHYSICAL DISTANCING

SOCIAL DISTANCING is recommended.

Visible signages are still in placed to remind each person to remain in physical
distancing.

We will now be accepting applicants with an interval of (1:1) one person in an hour to
undergo pre-interview and testing procedures. Meanwhile, while walk-in applicants may
leave their resume at the guard on duty.

Counter and Collection shall be on a regular basis at this time provided that limited
persons may enter the building. They will stay at the lobby while some are doing
transactions inside.

In accepting visitors, department head shall advise the HR ahead of time to consolidate
to limit the numbers that is required to come at the office. If it is not as important, we
are encouraging every employee/s to use zoom meeting and other digital methods to
address their concerns with their respective clients.

HAND SANITATION AND WASHING AREA

ALCOHOL AND SANITIZERS


Alcohol and sanitizers are placed to all entry points. Designated handwashing areas with
soaps are also placed as protection while inside the facility.

BRINGING OF OWN ALCHOL AND OTHER HYGIENIC PRODUCTS


Everyone is also encouraged to bring personal hygienic products. Amid the threat, local
supplies nowadays are out of stocks. Thus, we are asking your own personal
contributions.

CANCELLATION OF PLANNED EVENTS

OFFICIALLY CANCELLED
In complying with the IATF – Resolution No. II Series of 2020prohibitingplanned or
spontaneous events, etc., the management is officially cancelling its Teambuilding,
Zumba and Sportsfest activities for this year.

Likewise, budget is transferred immediately as“emergency fund” starting March 17,


2020 when the entire country was placed under Public Health Emergency.

EMPLOYEE WELFARE

MAY 16, 2020 (Saturday) - FIRST DAY OF WORK


On the first day of work, each department head shall report at the HR on its
attendance. From here, number of attendees and tardiness will reflect if employees still

encountered difficulty in transportation and others, thus, shuttle service may be still
needed at this time.

Problems encountered during this period must be addressed since this is just the
adjustment period, especially on Monday where all establishments are expecting to
come to work.

Recommendation shall follow if problem may arise.

SICK EMPLOYEES
XXXshall still implementing FORCED SICK LEAVE if employee/s are not feelingwell,
experiencing cough, flu and fever, symptoms that may be alike to COVID-19.

The sick employee/s shall present a medical certificate that he or she is safe to
comeback to fulfill its duties without any risk.

PREGNANT EMPLOYEES
Those pregnant employee/s who would like to have an early maternity leave will be
allowed provided, they will formally file their leave at the HR Department.

Cash advance will be given as part of their maternity benefit that will be provided by
the Social Security System (SSS) and shall be deducted once check has been received.

CANTEEN FACILITIES
Canteen located inside the facilityshall always continue to follow good hygiene.

Canteen providerensures its customers thatthe foodthey are selling is safe to


eat.Boilingof utensils (replacing hot water every hour) is necessary.Sanitizing of comfort
room from time to time.

RETURNING OF SUPPLIES FOR STAY-IN PERSONNEL

Affected employees who stayed at the penthouse located at the 5 th floorfor several
weeks are required to return all the beddings, electric fan, washing machine and others
which they used during their stay.

HR shall make an inventory list of all the items. Disinfection shall follow before keeping
and may be used the next time, as necessary.

DISSEMINATION OF THIS GUIDELINES

All department heads are tasked to disseminate and explain well to their subordinates
the New Normal measures that XXX is implementing.
Other guidelines shall become supplemental after dissemination.
