Process to use your Amazon gift card

Gift card once applied to your Amazon account, the entire amount will be added to your gift card balance. Your
gift card balance will be applied automatically to eligible orders during the checkout process and when using 1-
Click. If you don't want to use your gift card balance on your order, you can unselect it as a payment method in
checkout.

Redeem your gift card

To add the gift card to your “Amazon Pay” balance, visit www.amazon.in/addgiftcard.
Alternatively, you can redeem it by clicking on “Add Gift Card” option on the “Amazon Pay” page. You will need to
sign up/sign in to claim your gift card.

How to use your Amazon gift card?

Steps:
1. Locate the gift card code, a 14-letter code (e.g. AE8U-3XXXXF-XXXX)
Note: The claim code isn't the 16-digit card number
2. Go to Your Account
3. Click “Apply a gift card to your account”
4. Enter your claim code and click apply to your balance
Note: You can also enter your claim code during checkout. You won't be able to redeem your gift card using
the Amazon.com 1-Click service unless you redeem the gift card funds to your account first

Process to procure a gift card for other brands using Amazon Pay balance
To procure a gift card for other brands such as Lifestyle, Pantaloons, Lakme etc. you need to locate and claim the
14-letter gift card code (e.g., AE8U-3XXXXF-XXXX) on your e-voucher. The claimed voucher amount should be
added to your amazon pay balance to proceed.
To redeem the voucher for other brands the following steps should be followed.
Step 1. Go to the Gift Cards section on the Amazon home page,

Step 2. Select the preferred brand voucher or you may use the filter option (as listed on the left side of the
screenshot) to choose the brand of your choice.
Step 3. After selecting your preferred brand enter the requisite details i.e.style of the card, amount (add a value
between INR 200 to INR 10,000), email address (for the e-card to be sent to you) and quantity of card/s.

Step 4. Click add to cart

Step 5. Use Amazon pay balance to pay

 The brand e-gift card procured from Amazon pay is valid for a period of 1 year from the date of issue
 The e-gift card is redeemable at the stores of selected brands in India
 The e-gift card cannot be exchanged for cash/gift cards/credit notes

 The gift card has an expiry period of 12 months from the date of purchase/ load/ activation as applicable
 You can use Amazon pay balance to purchase and choose from over 100 brands from categories like kitchen,
grocery, fashion, lifestyle, clothing, restaurants, travel, spa and salons, media and entertainment, and many
more
 You can purchase gift coupons online from Amazon from brands like Joy Alukkas, Lakme, Pantaloons,
Domino’s, Cleartrip, BookMyShow, MakeMyTrip, Shoppers Stop, Big Bazaar and many more. This e-gift card
cannot be used at Cafes/Food Courts within stores
 This e-gift card can be redeemed only once and in full. Multiple cards can be clubbed for single transaction
 In case the value of the merchandise exceeds the value of e-gift card, the difference shall be paid by the
bearer. No refunds / credit note shall be issued for unused part of the e-gift card
 This e-gift cards bought at Amazon.in cannot be returned or refunded
