Artery carry oxygenated blood. It have thick layer of tissue which provide strength to artery as pressure
of blood is higher in it.

Q2: heart Explain why it is necessary for the blood supply to muscles to increase during exercise.

When the muscles start to work, they need more oxygen so the respiratory system responds by getting
more oxygen into the lungs. The blood carries greater amounts of oxygen and the heart responds to
pump more oxygenated blood around the body and while we exercise we lose our wastes products such
as carbon dioxide.

Q4: Name the two blood vessels that deliver blood to the liver.

The liver receives a blood supply from two sources. The first is the hepatic artery which delivers
oxygenated blood and hepatic vein deliver deoxygenated blood.
