AT THE RESTAURANT CONVERSATION

W :”Hello! How can I help you?”

G :”Hollo! I would like a table for four, please.”

W :”Of course. Please follow me!”

“ Here is table for four.”

G :”Thank you!”

“Would you give us the menu, please?”

W :”Yes Of Course.”

“Here you are.”

G :”Thank you!”

W :”Can I get you anything to drink?”

G :”Just water for me.”

G1 :”I’ll have a lemonade.”

G2 :”I’ll have a milkshake.”

G3 :”I’ll have a orange juice.”

W :”Great! I’ll be right back.”

“Are you ready to order?”

G :”Yes, we are. I’ll have the grilled chicken and salad.”

W :”Would you like a starter, sir?”

G :”Yes, I’d like the vegetable soup.”

G1 :”For starter, I’d like the vegetable soup. For the main course, I’d like the grilled fish.”

G2 :”I’ll have the chicken soup and lasagna.”

G3 :”I’ll have the chicken soup, the grilled chicken and some salad.”

W :”Excellent, I’ll be right back.”

G2 :”It smells so great.”

G3 :”I am so hungry and I want to eat, but the soup is so hot, I can barely touch it.”

G1 :”Wait for it to cool down before you eat it.”

G “The grilled chicken tastes delicious, doesn’t it, Paul?”

G3 “Yes, dad, it does, Indeed.”


G :What about your lasagna, Amy?”

G2 :”I love it. It’s my favourit dish.”

G “Great.”

G3 :”How’s your fish, mom?”


G1 :”It’s excellent. I’m so glad we came to this restaourant.”

“Could you please pass me the salt, Paul?”

G3 :”Here you are, mom.”

G1 :”Thnak you.”

W :”Did you enjoy the meal?”

G :”Yes, It was wonderful, thank you.”

W :”Would you like something for dessert?”

Based on the video, the language used is verbal language and non-verbal language. Verbal language
used is language that does occur in restaurants, while non-verbal language is the body language of
guests and waiters.

At the first minute a video was presented explaining that the waiter took the initiative to offer a seat.
the seats desired by the guests are four people. then after the guest gets a seat, the guest asks the
waiter for a menu book.

While waiting for the guests to choose the main course, the waiter asks for the drink they want to order.
Then, after the drinks arrive, guests have prepared what menu they want to order.

In the next minute, the guests are so satisfied with the food that when they eat the food they praise the
food. they also feel fortunate to choose to eat dinner at the restaurant.

When the guest has finished eating the main course, the waiter ensures whether the guest is satisfied or
not with the food and service at the restaurant. Then the waiter asked for dessert.
