Part A
1. A) Record information - Data visualization can be used to record critical information so that
information can be used as guideline for others. The information also will be useful for the
understanding of the specific data. This function also will help FSKM in order to understand the
more accurate and effective way of teaching the student based on the data collected. For example,
FSKM can record the number of attendance who attend the online learning and make assumption
about the reason behind it.
B) Explore Information – Data visualization can be used to analyse information based on the data
collected. The data have varied way to analyse the information such as calculation, trend and
correlations. This function also will help FSKM in order to predict the pattern of their student based
on the data. For example, the difference gred of student who learn face to face before covid and
student who learn online in covid period.
C) Explain Information - Data visualization can be used to present the data so the people can
understand. It also emphasizes important aspects of the data, make critical decision and answer the
question. This function also will help FSKM in order to make a conclusion based on the gathered
information which can enhanced the better learning in universities. For example, FSKM can choose
better way to interact with student in online learning.

system should do. It describes some function of the system when certain condition is met.

3. A) Advantage – Make complex data more accessible, understandable, and usable which mean it help
to simplifies the collected data and highlight the important ones.

B) Disadvantage – It can be misrepresent information if an incorrect visual representation is made.

This usually happen when the output is not supervised by any knowledge person.
