1- Reflection:
- When light exists in a single medium which
is air or water or glass, it moves in a single
straight line.
- Light moves at a constant speed in single
medium until it is obstructed by some
object, when light is obstructed by an
 object it reflects at the angle which is the
same as the angle at which it hits the

2- Refraction:

- Refraction or bending of light occurs when light

moves from one medium to another:
It could be air to water
It could be water to air
It could be air to glass or back
- Light wave changes both its direction and speed
when it enters another medium.
