In this section we are going to study some phrases which are quite useful when buying a train ticket.

Reservations can be made by letter, fax or emails. It is important to check that we give the correct details.

Look at the email that Tomás has sent to an agency making a train travel reservation.

Dear Ms Wood,

To confirm the arrangements we discussed this afternoon, would you please book a return train ticket, with couchette, in the name of Mr David Powell for
London-Paris-Madrid, depart Monday 14 May at 7:00, and returning Madrid-Paris-London, depart Friday 18 May at 11:15?

The reservation should be in a classic category compartment.

Please send your invoice to Beth Nash in our Finance Department.
