Note  The research was carried out in the five European countries.
s  It covered five areas of needs – leadership, ICT in curriculum,
professional development, e-learning and ICT infrastructure
 Web survey was conducted.
 The findings of the needs analysis suggested the following:
1. Planning for ICT needs to be cross curricular and ICT has to be
incorporated in all subjects. Planning needs to describe students’
progression. There is need to give teachers more competences.
2. The leader must make sure to create a culture and give time to
teachers to learn from each other.
3. Teachers need time just to explore the software, the resources and
the equipment they have in their classrooms.
4. Both teachers and principals focus on the need for necessary
development of the schools’ e-learning culture.
5. Parents need to be more involved in the use of ICT as means of
communication.
6. The need to decide what would be best within your school, what
would work best. What ICT, like iPads, new laptop or what do you
need to buy, identify the needs.
