Abstract
Driving School Management System. Through our software we can search, updated and delete
the customer information. Even one can save a data at another position to have backup of the
data Today Manager or Proprietor of company need to have information about candidates
turnover also he has to maintain those records as per the governments need. And it is very
difficult to maintain such a heavy records. As per governments rules one need to keep record of
accountancy of 10 years. And this is very difficult and time consuming task. We cannot say EIS
is the full solution to that, but EIS will help to maintain such records softcopy easily.

This Software is provides a simple and user-friendly interface so that any manager, proprietor
can easily use the application. It provides a set of various elements to choose from. It prompts
user to enter necessary information regarding the reports to be formed. EIS forms reports too.

2.

INTRODCTION:
Proposed system is an Driving School Management System. Through our software we can
search, updated and delete the customer information. Even one can save a data at another
position to have backup of the data.

The manual system is converted into computerized system so the work can be done easily.
Feasibility study is an evaluation of a proposal designed to determine the difficulty in carrying
out a designated task. Billing System is developed in visual basic 6.0 which can keep track of all
your business activity from small segment to large and very large segments. You can make entry,
edit, explore, print, backup, restore and other more activities.

3.

FEASIBILITY STUDY:
Once the problem is clearly understood, the next step is to conduct feasibility study, which is
high-level capsule version of the entered systems and design process. The objective is to
determine whether or not the proposed system is feasible. The three tests of feasibility have
been carried out.

 Technical Feasibility
 Economical Feasibility
 Operational Feasibility

TECHNICAL FEASIBILITY:
In Technical Feasibility study, one has to test whether the proposed system can be developed
using existing technology or not. It is planned to implement the proposed system using java
technology. It is evident that the necessary hardware and software are available for development
and implementation of the proposed system. Hence, the solution is technically feasible.

ECONOMICAL FEASIBILITY:

As part of this, the costs and benefits associated with the proposed system compared and the
project is economically feasible only if tangible or intangible benefits outweigh costs. The
system development costs will be significant. So the proposed system is economically feasible.

OPERATIONAL FEASIBILITY:

It is a standard that ensures interoperability .Without stifling competition and innovation among
users, to the benefit of the public both in terms of cost and service quality. The proposed system
is acceptable to users. So the proposed system is operationally feasible.

4.
Need for System:
 Front End: Microsoft Visual Studio 2008

 Back End: Microsoft Access 2010

Hardware Requirement:

 Operation System: - Win 98 or XP or any higher version.

 RAM: - 128MB DRAM

 HDD: - Min 2GB

 Printer: - Any Laser printer

 Keyboard

 Mouse

5.
EXISTING SYSTEM:

There is no Software as such to do any kind of entry to maintain record of Trainers, Candidates
date they have joined Driving school. This will help then\m to keep record of it and manage
accordingly.

Our application would overcome this problem that any End user can use it properly without any
efforts.

All customer’s information or reports store in manually. Search, edit, update and delete the
information of customer is not possible in existing system. There was no software backup in
existing system. Physical data present in existing system can be affected by natural calamities.

Disadvantages:
 The current system is very time consuming.

 It is very difficult to generate the report manually.

 A chance of losing the gathered data is more.

6.
Proposed System:

Proposed system is an Driving School Management System. Through our software we can
search, updated and delete the customer information. Even one can save a data at another
position to have backup of the data.

The manual system is converted into computerized system so the work can be done easily.

your business activity from small segment to large and very large segments. You can make entry,
edit, explore, print, backup, restore and other more activities.

Advantages:

 Saves time.

 Reduces the manual work.

 Makes the searching work easier.

 Fully automated management service.

 Reduced out of stock condition.

 Provides data security.
 Easy and fast retrieval of information.
 Better storage capability.
 There is only one gate for input information and hence the information will be consistent
throughout the system.
 Well designed report.

7.
Operating Environment - Hardware and Software

In this 21st centaury everyone is technology freak. Almost everyone has the higher end
operating system which is either Windows XP or Windows 7.

So our project will run on Windows XP or Windows 7.

 HDD: - Min 2GB

 Printer: - Any Laser printer

 Keyboard

 Mouse

Drawbacks and Limitations:-

1. The current system is very time consuming.
2. Lack of security.
3. It is difficult to maintain all the records.
4. Customer details, purchased products report etc.
5. Lack of efficiency and man power.
6. System break down makes staff work to stop
7. System is completely Depend on computer
8. Failure of electricity makes the system and management down
9. Improper coding of the system damages the business
10. As the System maintains a lot of records. If a specific record is
11. Existing since years then. Deletion of such records is hard to detect.
12. The System being large has its flaw of maintenance. As due to large
13. Size the maintenance of the System in the Long run becomes difficult.
