HIGHLIGHTS: JAN’2021

Safety:

❖ Internal Safety Audit by NTPC CC of NSPCL Bhilai PP-2 and PP-3 conducted
from 28th to 30th Jan’2021.
❖ Internal Safety Audit of NSPCL Bhilai PP-2 by PP3 Committee and PP-3 by
PP2 Committee conducted in Jan’2021.
❖ National Road Safety Monthly Campaign started from 18 th Jan’2021 will
continue up to 17th Feb’2021. Road Safety Walk and Road Safety Talk organized
in Township on first day of road safety campaign i.e. 18.01.2021. Road Safety
Checks also conducted at entry gates of the plant on this occasion.
❖ Environment Audit by NTPC CC of NSPCL Bhilai PP-2 and PP-3 conducted
from 27th to 29th Jan 2021.
❖ Installation of Safety Mascot done in Plant Premises.

Bhilai PP_III:

❖ DC for the month of Jan 21 is 100% and cumulative DC for Low Demand
Season is more than 100%.

❖ Cumulative DC for High Demand Season is more than 100%.

❖ Monthly PLF is 82.52 % and Yearly PLF is 69.63%.

❖ Monthly APC  is 8.67 % and Yearly PLF is 8.89%.

❖ Monthly Ramp performance achieved is F/D 95.68 % and cumulative is F/D
84.41%
❖ Coal quantity of 3.75 Lakh tons Offered    for the 04th Quarter through FSA
Flexi Scheme from M/s MCL.
❖ New ABT system successfully commissioned in the month of Jan 2021.
❖ Since inception, First time in 400KV three numbers of lines (Raipur line 1,2 &
 tie) and BSP line-3 Circuit Breaker mechanism overhauling completed.
❖ Since inception, First time 29 number of Areva 6.6Kv Circuit Breaker
overhauling completed.
❖ Since June 2018, No Demurrage payable in the month of Jan 2021.
❖ Conveyor 9B Belt complete Replacement completed.
❖ As per trip committee recommendation, U#2 Furnace pressure transmitter cable
laying work and transmitter also changed to a different LIE.
❖ Calibration of in-motion weighbridge completed.
❖ Operational and functional of Dust Suppression System of 2A,2B,8A,5,6,7,10A.
❖ Brick paving around U#2 CT & CW pump house hydrogen plant, Canteen
❖ Installation of Safety Mascots at various locations.
❖ Unit#1 Overhauling planned in the month of Jan 2021 is postponed for covid-19
pandemic and Shifted to June 2021 due to delay in activities of implementation
of De NOx and FGD.

Bhilai PP_II

❖ LMI internal audit of PPII completed from 11 Jan 21 to 13 Jan’21.

❖ CW air Ventilation system revived.
❖ CW header-1 total isolated to facilitate first time during NSPCL tenure
maintenance for Gate Valve 4,9.
❖ Out of 11nos of Coal rakes received in the Month of Jan, 8 nos of rakes
unloaded without demurrage charges.
❖ Replacement of old damaged track line (of 156 m length) with proper alignment
& fixing fish plates, in "Track hopper" area.
❖ Vertigo Test area Garden developed.
❖ UCR AHU-1 and 2 rooms renovated.
❖ Lowest monthly CBD of 160 M3 for PP#2 since takeover.
❖ Boiler #1 Overhauling started from  22.01.2021 for a period 16 days.
❖ TG #1 Overhauling started from 21.01.2021 for a period of 25 days.
❖ TG#1 Generator Stator replacement is under progress in ongoing TG#1
overhauling.
Township:

❖ Mural Painting at RC, STP walls completed. 

❖ 06 rooms of field hostel at Guesthouse renovated to 12 rooms

❖ Renovated Ruabandha School Handed over.

HR:
❖ Inauguration of NPL (NSPCL premiere leagues –2020) cricket tournament on
28.01.2021.
❖ Training on quality circle team formation, tools & technique.
❖ Online training programme on “safety provision in the factories act-1948 & cg
factories rules-1962”. The program was conducted on 15.01.2021.
❖ “FUNBIZZ-a business quiz in a fun way” was conducted at NSPCL Bhilai
through virtual mode on 19.01.2021.
❖ The republic day celebration at NSPCL, Bhilai was held on 26thjanuary, 2021.
❖ A road safety walk was organized on 18.01.2021 at NSPCL township.
❖ Inauguration of outdoor gym on the occasion of the republic day 2021 at
NSPCL Bhilai township.
❖ Cultural programme on the occasion of republic day by in-house talents.
❖ Musical night on the occasion of republic day. Made live on YouTube.
