Specifications ARTES II

System concept Constructed using 32/128 bit DSP technology. The test values are calculated from the parameters entered in
the software and are supplied to the device under test via high-accuracy digital-to-analog converters and ampli-
fiers. Insensitivity to disturbances in the power supply is guaranteed by the synthetic generation of test values.
Operation, control and data evaluation are carried out with an external PC, using the ARTES software. The
ARTES 460 can alternatively be operated as a stand-alone device with just four function keys and a jog dial.

Amplifiers All amplifier outputs can be set separately and independently of one another as regards amplitude, phase and
frequency and are equipped with overload and short-circuit protection. The output values of the current and
voltage amplifiers are monitored by the system during tests (internal feedback measurement). If the output
values do not agree with the setpoint values, the programme issues a warning to this effect. Connections to the
device under test are made via safety sockets or a multi-pole generator output socket.
