one-tape system
asymmetric structure
optimized to prevent
from cavitation
Evolen-tape B 80-C EN
TheEvolen-Band B 80-C EN is a multilayer, asymmetric plastics tape acc. to DIN EN 12 068 (3/1999). It
is consisting of a stabilized polyethylene carrier foil, coated on both sides with permanently plastics
masses on butyl rubber basis. On the outside of the tape the caoutchouc coating is thin and coloured in
black, on the inside it is thick and grey. Both caoutchouc layers have different compositions.
Description
The Evolen-tape B 80-C EN is a cold applied corrosion protective tape. It is used for the coating of
buried or immersed pipelines of low alloy ferrous material as well as for the site applied coating of welded
seams and the repair of mechanical defects in factory coatings of PE, PP, PUR and bitumen.
Due to its high mechanical stability and its low water vapor and oxygen stability the Evolen-tape B 80-C
EN is a reliable corrosion protection.
Coating
The Evolen-tape B 80-C EN is suitable for continuous operating temperatures up to 50°C. It is
compatible with factory coatings of polyethylene, polypropylene, epoxy resin, polyurethane and bitumen.

Non curing, permanently plastics butyl rubber mass, easy to form, for the padding of uneven surfaces and
for the prevention from cavitation.
Evo®-pipe protection mats
Fleeces of different thickness made of non decaying polypropylene as aditional mechanical protection for
factory and site applied coatings, compatible with cathodic protection (current permeable).
Evo®-repair stick
For the repair of small damages in the polyethylene factory coating in heat
Vogelsang-patch C 50
Warm applied repair patch made of cross-linked polyethylene, coated on one side with melt adhesive for
the repair of mechanical damages (defects up to some cm2 or grooves) in factory coatings of
polyethylene or polypropylene
