Alcatel- Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise R8.0, Alcatel- Lucent 8 Series.
A unique access control system that combines Alcatel-Lucent 4068 terminals, LAN camera
equipment and intercom services.

This easy-to-install application brings DoorCam facilities for one or several doors to any Alcatel-
Lucent IP Touch phone: video on the Alcatel-Lucent IP Touch phone screen and door activation
with a single key.
Using telephony features, the DoorCam service helps keep costs down and improves Customer
Welcome. It also provides an effective method of forwarding the facility during absence or night
time

FEATURES

n Automatic intercom dialing

n Display of the image from camera(s) located at any door.
n Door can be opened from any designated Alcatel-Lucent IP Touch phone.
n This service can be deployed on an existing Linux or Windows server.
n This application is available in five languages: English, French, German, Spanish and Italian.

OPERATION

When a visitor arrives at an entrance area where intercom and Lancam are installed, he can
call reception for entry by using the intercom. Once the call is initiated one or more Alcatel-
Lucent IP Touch phones ring. When an Alcatel-Lucent IP Touch phone takes the intercom call,
the images from the associated LAN camera are displayed on the screen.
While connected, it is possible to open the door by pressing a key on the Alcatel-Lucent IP
Touch screen.

When IP Cameras and intercoms are installed, entrance areas can be controlled by the
system. Furthermore, electric locks can be added to the doors to allow remote access.
The Alcatel-Lucent IP Touch phone handles the calls from the intercoms and displays
images from the cameras.

REQUIREMENTS OR CONDITIONS

The Alcatel-Lucent IP Touch DoorCam solution requires:

n DoorCam software
n Alcatel- Lucent XML API Framework, which allows real-time display of images on the Alcatel-
Lucent IP Touch screens connected during the intercom call
n Intercom service to integrate the circuits that control the electric locks on the doors
n LAN camera(s) to transmit digital images onto the IP/Ethernet network
n Alcatel- Lucent IP Touch 4068 terminals, to provide image display

Additional requirements:
n Alcatel- Lucent OmniPCX Enterprise release 6.0, or later
n Windows 2000 or Linux RedHat 7.3 on an Intel Platform.
n Alcatel- Lucent XML API server (full Alcatel- Lucent OmniTouch UC server, Alcatel-Lucent XML
API Framework server or standalone Presentation Server) including My Phone Web Services
and My IP Touch XML Basic Services
