Missing important milestones, especially as we are


growing up, is very difficult. Everyone has gone
through this difficult chapter at the same time. We
will look back at this time and say, "In Grade ..., we
were stuck at home," but we can also choose to say
that "In Grade ..., we were safe at home."

Reframe. Hope is in your hands. You can choose to


see the negative or positive side of each situation.

There will always be chapters of our lives when we feel


stuck or like our lives are not how we want them to be. The
thoughts that race through our minds can be overwhelming.
This chapter will focus on mental health, when to reach out
for help, and how to develop positive daily practices. It's
important to stay proactive with your mental health-- not
just during COVID, but always.

We have all sacrificed things for the good of our


community. Now we are starting to see the light at the end of
the tunnel. So, what are you excited about?

There are so many amazing opportunities and adventures


ahead of you. There will be people who will become really special
in your life that you have not met yet. You still have incredible
experiences to come like travelling, getting a pet, camping
trips, going to university, starting a career, having a family,
skydiving, eating a pizza in Italy, starting a business...

The list goes on and on. Your life is YOURS TO BUILD.
