Online Exam SOPs for Students

1. Attempt all of your answers as handwritten for forwarding via email.


2. Your name and roll number, e.g., Muhammad Ali BAF-20-45 must appear on top of
every page of your answer sheet, which all must also be numbered page-1, page-2, etc.
3. Your name and roll number, e.g., Muhammad Ali BAF-20-45 must also appear as the
name of your answer sheet in pdf file format, and also as the subject of your email sent
to the exam office and teacher’s email id.
4. Having finished the exam, scan it, save it with your name and roll no and send it by
Email at (1) dcomexam@gmail.com and cc to (2) masoodulhassan99@gmail.com
5. Students should also submit original answer scripts to the department, in person (to
relevant program clerk) or through UMS or registered post on last day of the exam.
6. Students are strongly advised to submit early to avoid any penalty.
7. Delay in submission may result in deduction of marks or re-examination
8. Do not submit your paper in any of the group.
9. The answer sheet should reach within 15 minutes after the exam time is over.
10. Answer your question by writing only "Answer 1," for example. Do not reproduce the
question.
11. Students are fully responsible for ensuring that all their exam scripts are sent in readable
form, and intact to, and received by, the Exam office. Students are directed to apply
check by clicking on/opening their sent items, and then open the mail sent to exam
office/teacher and then download the attached file to satisfy themselves about the
accurate submission of their complete answer sheet. Remember, it must not be blank,
blackened, or blurred imaged.
12. Students may better use a black pointer so that the scan is more visible.
13. Page limit for the Mid-term examination is 5 Sheets, i.e., ten pages.
14. Page limit for the Final-term examination is 7 Sheets, i.e., fourteen pages.
15. Teacher can penalize in grading the students not observing the SOPs, or Teacher’s
instructions.
16. Use of headphones, earphones, handsfree, etc. is not allowed anyway.
17. Strict actions will be initiated against the students involved in the use of unfair means
such as cheating from other students’ paper, paper sharing, forgery, undesirable
communications, submission of papers through E-mail of other students etc. In all such
cases, the students copying the paper of other student, and the students sharing their
own papers will be treated equal. The minimum punishment in such cases will be re-
exam on the campus physically.
18. In view of the above SOPs, the students are directed, in their own interest, to be online
with the arrangement of all prerequisite tools including cameras/video device and audio
tools/mic, preferable via laptop/personal computer throughout the exam process, i.e.,
right from start of the online exam meeting till the submission of their final answer
sheets.
19. In case of any issue regarding the question papers, queries, submission problems, etc.
the students must instantly report to their online available teacher for quick resolution
of the problem.
20. Consequently, no relief or favor will be granted to the students who do not observe all
the SOPs and Teacher’s instructions, and remain offline or disappear from the
audio/video presence.
