Greetings from PHILSURIN!

Over the past 25 years, the Philippine Sugar Research Institute Foundation, Inc. (PHILSURIN)
has been instrumental in improving the lives of the Negrenses and families around the country
through Research and Development of Sugarcane Varieties (PHILSURIN Varieties). Our
institution is a non-stock, non- profit, private research institution that engages in developing high
yielding and superior varieties sugarcane in the Philippines for commercial planting, and assists
our stakeholders in providing employment to about 5 million people in the sugar industry and
sugar-related activities.

entitled, “The Stalk Talk: Getting the MOST from PHILSURIN Varieties” on November
26, 2020 at two o’clock in the afternoon through ZOOM. This major activity is to be

Philippines, and collaborated by one (1) government sector from (SRA) Sugar Regulatory
Administration. The objective of this endeavor is to present a new variety of sugarcane to
