Take note that the result of the pretest will inform us about your entry knowledge on oral and
written communication.

for us to monitor your attendance. Also, please take the test individually.

Have a great day!

The topics to be discussed in this webinar-workshop are very important. These are something
that we all need, myself included, English and Communication. Why? It is because English is
the language of international communication in all areas such as business, religion, politics,
science and technology, media, and art. Having a good command of the language is a clear
advantage as it helps us to communicate more clearly and as a result, we have more
opportunities in life. Having said this, it follows that if we are proficient in English, then we can
communicate more clearly. Let me say that importance of clear communication in our lives
today regardless of the field you are involved cannot be over emphasized. It plays a vital role in
any organization more so in an academic community. It improves efficiency in all activities. It
reduces the frustration which arises from misunderstanding, It promotes clearer and more
structured thinking. It leads to enhance understanding of other people as clear communication
involves putting oneself in another person’s place and it leads to a more effective management
of the business and affairs of an organization. The end of clear of effective communication and
for that matter clear English communication is to build rapport and boost the spirit of
productivity. It builds the discipline of transparency which in turn generates trust among co-
workers. This is the value we all hope to achieve in this webinar workshop.
