15:47:30 PDT

Question: Steve just another lead-on question from the OU's question just now. Would it be OK to
DirSync all the relevant OU's with users, and ONLY assign licenses to the certain users who require it in
365? This of course means my 365 will be populated with many users not actually using 365. Would you
say this is OK, or would it be best to just throw the relevant users into a 365 OU? I'm leaning towards the
OU bit but would like to hear from you.

It's alright and hurts nothing.

16:15:18 PDT

Question: Exchange question: In our environment we sent up alternate "send as" accounts where the
user can send from a different address... and any emails they receive at that address would go in to their
normal user mailbox like an alias. Basically it's a security group that a user has rights to send from
without needing to log in to a separate mailbox. Is this still something we can do with Exchange Online?
They will need to be able to click on the from address field in their Outlook and select the alternate
address to send from.

16:15:48 PDT

Question: We have a client that is going to have Windows Server 2012 STD. and Moving to Office 365
from Exchange 2003. Going to have 15 AD Users and 120 Mailboxes. How do we not have Extra AD
Users and Just have Mailboxes

can make them shared mailboxes, which don't require a license, but they have some limited
functionality. we will cover this in module 6
