Murder on the Orient Express

I chose that book because I had heard a lot of good things about Agatha Christie. She was an
English writer and she is famous for her detective novels. Personally, this genre didn’t appeal to
me, but I take this book like a challenge because I want to get out of my comfort zone. I uses to
read romantic books, fantasy and from time to time books releated to ancient people and
culture, so history. I wanted something new, fresh and I was thinking about “Murder on the
Orient Express” because it was translated into more than 100 languages.
The main character is Hercule Poirot who travel to Instanbul with Taurus Express. In Instanbul
he receives a telegram in which he is asked returned to England. He goes with another train,
Orient Express. But that train will be the place of a mysterious death. There are 13 persons
suspected, but only one criminal. The victim is a mister Ratchett, a rich man who travel around
the earth with his secretary. Poirot discover that Ratchett is a criminal accused on the murdar
of Daisy Armstrong. The suspect left behind a handkerchief with the letter H and a pipe cleaner.
All the passengers are interrogated and among them were noble men like the Princess
Dragomirof and a couple with noble title.
In the end Hercule Poirot discovered who is the real criminal on the train and he he comes to
the conclusion that everyone is involved. Each of them were friends or relatives with Armstrong
family and for several years they had tried to localize Ratchett who is a false name. Cassetti was
the real name.

Sonnet 66’ by William Shakespeare is a dark and depressing poem that expresses the
speaker’s irritation and exhaustion with the world.
Throughout the fourteen lines of this poem, the speaker takes the reader through the
numerous things that he is tired of in his life. He’s fed up seeing weak people taken
advantage of by the poor and the deserving losing out on opportunities. He doesn’t want to
see good women become prostitutes any longer, nor does he want to experience the
“authority,” or government controlling art. It is only because of his love, the Fair Youth, is still
alive that he remains in this life.
