There were times that my friends or teammates in basketball asked me to play in basketball tournament in some
occasions like festival in barangays, town and etc. but I turned them down sometimes when there were many projects
and assignments to be passed in school.
State precisely what Kant means by the “good will” and explain the difference between hypothetical and categorical
imperatives?
He meant that good will is the person’s desire to do something good with not being force by anyone. The main
difference between hypothetical and categorical imperative is that hypothetical imperatives are moral commands that
are conditional on personal desire or motive while categorical imperatives are commands you must follow, regardless of
your desires and motives.
Think of any actions, attitudes, good policies that would be qualified by the universalizability test, but you would
still wish to maintain that they were morally permissible.

What’s on your mind?

1. We desire money so much even though it led us to death.
2. We prioritize our heart rather than our brain.
3. We struggle a lot to aim our goal in life but sometimes in the end we stop aiming for it even though we are already
at the peak of it.
4. In this society we only notice those who have and ignore those who don’t have like they don’t exist in this world.
