The Lebanese law identifies sexual harassment as bad and monotonous act mixed with

sexual connotation that creates an abuse of the body, privacy, or emotions (Human Rights

Watch, 2021). This act occurs in the workplace between employers and managers, young

and old persons, but the major victims of this act are women. Employers must comprehend

the consequences of sexual harassment on victims, the firm, and society as a whole while

dealing with sexual harassment in the workplace (Zeina Mhaidly, 2018). Furthermore,

Menaal Munshey (2020) clears that sexual harassment affects the workability of woman in

her job. This could lead to bigger issue by affecting the progress of the hole organization.

More-often, women who are being harassed, are fearing from reporting to the authorities.

This could lead serious damage like being fired, or not getting promoted. So, to prevent such

damages, strategies should be conducted and put in action. Zeina Mhaidly (2018) suggests

that Measures must be set in place to display the workplace and ensure that it is effective and

that the victim is safeguarded from reprisal. Employees who are victims of sexual harassment

must be reimbursed for any damages incurred as a result of the harassment, according to the

company's sexual harassment policy (Zeina Mhaidly, 2018). This literature review shows

how it is important to take actions against sexual harassment towards women in workplace

and what are these actions. Additionally, it shows the importance of a positive environment

for women in the job place and finally it shows the sexual harassment in Lebanese

workplaces and what are the policies that Lebanese law offer to prevent such acts.
