Write a composition similar to the model

Last February I was invited to a wedding in Greece. As the bride was Mariah, one of my best
friends, I didn’t even think about the answer: of course I will go... I didn´t know it was so
expensive! I had to buy two tickets as I was travelling with my husband. Then, I wanted to give
Mariah a very beautiful lamp made of crystal because she loves them. In order to protect the
lamp I had to pay a special tax in the airport. Once in Athens, I had to take my dress to a dry
cleaner’s to iron it... At the end, it was the most expensive trip that I have ever done!
