KNOWLEDGE CHECK!
Answer the following questions:
1. Why is it important to have methodology in teaching?
Methodology is the how in teaching. It’s the method in which the teacher
addresses student learning. It is important because it is how the teacher gives
knowledge to students. There are lots of teaching methods and it depends on
the teacher in which teaching method she/he will use. Some teachers
depends their method to the learning style of students so that they will be
more active in their learning abilities.

2. How do you choose a method in teaching a particular lesson?

Personally, as a pre-service teacher and a professional teacher in the future, I
will use teaching methods depending on the skills and information I would like
to convey to my students. I will be flexible in my methods of teaching and
often adjust my style of teaching to accommodate my students. I can’t choose
a specific teaching method but I will do my best to maximize my teaching
capabilities to provide quality teaching to my students and make the best out
of them as they learn actively.
