Interviewed participant aged about 30 years, over phone. The overall duration of the
interview was for 14 minutes. The interview was conducted in an informal setting, as the
interviewer knew the participant. The participant works for an analytics firm in Bengaluru.
He uses OTT platform quite often. Due to engagement with work, his average watch time
per week is almost 3 hours. He is interested in sports and movies, Since he already has the
family subscription for Netflix, he is not buying subscription of any other OTT platform and
wishes Netflix to stream Football matches which would cater to his choice and will be
pocket friendly also.

interview was for 10 minutes. The interview was conducted in an informal setting, as the
interviewer knew the participant. The participant Interviewed is a Test analyst at an IT
firm and resides in Pune. She is an avid user of OTT platform and spends around 10 hours
per week on OTT platform. She uses Prime Video as it is pocket friendly and annual
subscription at a discounted rate is available. Since she is an avid users of the app, the
content gets repetitive after sometime owing to the average watch time, 10 hours/week.
She wishes to have NEWS streamed over the OTT platform so that she is aware happening
in and around the world. The NEWS content is different everyday so that would break the
monotony of similar content being watched over the platform.

used mostly while in travelling in train in Mumbai where News content can be accessed.
As per the participant Hotstar has limited choices for movies and Hindi series.

CA in a private firm. As per the participant the OTT app is used mostly at home on
weekends where he does binge watching. He prefers watching English Series and Netflix
provides wide range of options for the same. The two issues which the participant
considers is High price of Netflix compared to other platforms and also sports option is not
available.
