JOB DESCRIPTION
SCOPE:
We are looking for THE BEST BARTENDER in Saigon who will meet the standards that we are striving for in a
very busy restaurant and bar. The Deck is one of the Vietnam’s finest event venues and a regular host to
celebrities and high profile guests. Therefore, the highest service standards are expected. 

THE ROLE:
Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

General

• Greet all the guests with a smile and positive attitude 

• You are the face of the Deck
• Follow The Deck procedures in relation to correct Guest Service Experience
• Interact with guest, take customers’ orders and deliver drinks in a fast and orderly manner
• Make drinks for the bar and restaurant according to The Deck standards
• Possess a thorough knowledge of all The Deck’s food and beverage menus
• Able to recommend and explain menu suggestions to the guests
• Able to work smoothly and efficiently with restaurant and bar teams
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies 
• Attend all training sessions as scheduled 

Be aware of
• The Deck and your department standard operational procedures
• The Deck customer service standards
• The Deck facilities and opportunities and to promote these to customers
• The Deck’s fire procedures 

Working Conditions

• Working hours are 6 days a week, late nights and weekends, and public holidays depending on the
businesses requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• At least 1year experience
• Good spoken English
• Good communication skills
• Excellent team player
• Calm and able to work under pressure
• Creative and Organized 
• Positive attitude
• Confident
• Self-motivated
• Open minded
• Willing to learn
