1. Identify five (5) terminologies from the discussion and sled light on each by way
of giving basic and applicable examples.

- Specific goals

Goals are important for academic achievement as well as success

in other aspects of life. Setting and monitoring goals teaches your child
vital life skills like preparation, organization, and time control, as well as
communication, self-awareness, and trust. Procrastination is often
reduced because you have a concrete plan. There is less space for
procrastination if the kid knows exactly what he or she needs to do and
how to get there. Setting effective targets also teaches your child time
control, organizing, and preparation skills that he or she can use in the
classroom and at home. For example, the goal of the teacher is to make
learning fun by turning worksheets into games and lessons into
experiments. Another is to finish all the objectives in your lesson plan and
for the learners to understand the lesson.

- Strategies

The classroom is a diverse atmosphere that brings students from

varying cultures, skills, and personalities together. In order to satisfy
students' unique needs, being a successful teacher necessitates the use
of imaginative and inventive instructional techniques. It can be difficult to
determine which teaching methods would work well for your students,
whether you've been teaching for two months or twenty years. As an
educator, there is no such thing as a "one-size-fits-all" approach, but here
is an example of useful teaching methods to get you started. Encourage
mixed-ability students to cooperate by coordinating small group or whole-
class activities. Another is pose thought-provoking questions to encourage
the students to think for themselves and develop as learners.
Incorporating technology into your teaching is a great way to actively
engage your students, especially as digital media surrounds young people
in the 21st century. Implementing an effective behavior management
strategy is crucial to gain your students respect and ensure students have
an equal chance of reaching their full potential.

- Resources

Learning materials are tools that teachers can use as part of their
career development to help them improve one aspect of their work. This is
significant because teacher productivity has been identified as the most
critical factor in evaluating a school system's effectiveness. For example,
some universities have a library or a section of the staffroom where
teachers can use books or journals about teacher development, and there
are also online services available to all teachers. Lectures, readings,
textbooks, digital elements, and other course materials are examples.
These tools will be used in both face-to-face and online classrooms;
however, some of them will need to be updated or revamped for online
use. The best teaching tools are in sync with the course's other
components, such as learning goals, tests, and a syllabus.

- Curriculum

Students exercise and gain proficiency in subject and applied life

skills through a standards-based series of scheduled activities. Curriculum
serves as a central roadmap for all educators in terms of what is required
for effective teaching and learning, ensuring that all students have access
to challenging classroom environments. A curriculum's composition,
organization, and priorities are designed to improve student performance
and promote teaching. To successfully promote teaching and learning,
curriculum must contain the required expectations, strategies, content,
and tests.

- Contents

The body of knowledge and understanding that teachers teach and

that students are supposed to learn in a given subject or topic
environment, such as English language arts, mathematics, science, or
social sciences, is referred to as content knowledge. Content knowledge
refers to the facts, ideas, philosophies, and values taught and studied in
particular learning classes, as opposed to similar skills like reading,
writing, and studying that students’ study in school. A teacher with a
master's degree in biology, for example, could be less successful than a
teacher with an intermediate degree in chemistry in teaching a chemistry
course. These studies have sparked debate about whether teachers
should be highly qualified in a particular subject field, such as physics,
rather than in general science education or educational philosophy, as an
alternative. Furthermore, some educators, scholars, and reformers
suggest that teachers must develop good “pedagogical material
awareness,” or comprehension of both subject-area knowledge and the
most appropriate ways to teach the particular subject to students.

2. Of the principle of teaching/ education whom do you look up the most? Why?
Explain

I have one professor that I look up the most as a future educator.

He was my professor when I was in first year second semester in
Pamantasan ng Cabuyao. He is handling the three of my subjects that
time. He is only a part-timer in Pamantasan ng Cabuyao. He is Professor
Ronald E. Uy. I adore him as my professor because of being professional
in front of us. He always makes sure that we are responsible in time and
cleanliness of our room. He disciplined us not just a student but as a
person as well. I adore him the way he teaches us because the difficult
subject makes him easier for us to understand the lesson well. He is also
approachable professor and easy to talk to. He makes his discussion to be
fun, enjoyable and learning students at the same time. He also gives a
reward for those students who performs well and compliments for each
and every one. He inspires me a lot because of his intelligent and pleasing
personality and also his looks. He will be my forever inspiration in teaching
and I will do my best to be effective teacher like him even if we are not the
same way of how we teach.
