Best life is keeping the faith until the end (2 Timothy 4:7) as told by Paul

Best life is denying his/her authority over his/her own life (Acts 20:24)
Taking up our own cross and follow Jesus (Mark 8:34)
Cross means death, death of our own past ways and now living to follow Jesus

Best life is abiding in the will of the Lord (John 4:34)

Even Jesus asked for His own sake but still He abides in the will of God the Father
(Luke 22:42)

Initial observations why Christians doesn’t experience a best life:

 Not fully trusting God

Di pa rin nagkaroon ng buong pagtitiwala ang Israelita sa Diyos kahit na lubos ang
pagpapakita ng himala ang Diyos sa kanila. Di nila nakamtan ang best life dahil some of
them ay di nakapasok sa Canaan

 He/she cannot abandon the things of this world (Colossians 3:2)

Masyado tayong focus sa bagay ng sanlibutan kaysa sa naglalang nga lahat ng bagay
sa sanlibutan. Kaya di natin naga gain ang best life dahil di tayo dumidikit sa source ng
lahat ng ito.

 He does not know God

Kung di nagpakilala ang Diyos kay Apostle Paul, malamang di nya na attain ang
magandang buhay sa piling ng Diyos.
  He does not love his God

Sa panahon na napapagod na tayo sa paglilingkod maybe wala rin yung pag ibig natin
sa Diyos. Pag mahal mo you will do anything.

How to have a best life ever:

 Seek closer relationship with God

Closer relationship with God not closer romantic relationship with others

 Commit yourself fully to God

Shadrac, Meshrac and Abednego: Followed God even in death. Di lang nagmagco
commit sa panahon na ok ang lahat but even in times na nhihirapan tayo.

 Devotional Life (Mark 1:35)

God promised us a best life in Jeremiah 29:11. God already have a plan for us, we just
need to know his will for us by knowing Him more in our devotional life.

 Respond to God’s calling (John 15:16)

Personal testimony

10 years ago when I respond to the call

Nagbago ang pag uugali ko for the better. Dating introvert pero naging outgoing
because of God’s power and through my Church families

 Aim to serve God’s glory rather than your own (1 Peter 4:11)
