WELCOME TO THE KINGDOM OF

GOD?

Welcome to the Kingdom of God. It is our

pleasure as fellow Kingdom citizens to have
you as an asset to this awesome life. It is truly
a blessing to know that you also have been
saved from the kingdom of darkness and
brought into the kingdom of light.

We know that you are a valuable diamond in

the Kingdom of God. We as a body of
believers can’t wait to see what God has
placed inside of you for the edification of the
Kingdom. May your life be that of love and
success.

For most young Christians, early life within

the Kingdom of God seems intimidating.
There are things that you don’t understand at
first glance. This may cause doubt and
disbelief in the correct decision you made in
accepting and following Jesus Christ.
Through this booklet, we will endeavor to put
you on the right track within the Kingdom of
God.

In other words, instead of trying to pre-design

your future, allow God to lead you into His
will and purpose for your life by following the
sound advice given in this booklet.

GROWTH IS A PROCESS

The Bible says that we are babies when we

first come to God. Therefore we must grow in
Him just like a baby become a young person
and then an adult. (I Pet. 2:2)

Proper growth must be worked at. To be "all

you can be" for Christ will require prayer,
fasting, bible study, attending fellowship
services, and doing all the things which
pertain to spiritual life and growth.
Regardless of what your calling or burden
may be in future, you must first learn the ways
of the Lord.
In these early stages of your spiritual birth,
you should learn all you can. Be like a sponge.
Hunger for the things of God.

FAITHFULNESS

Faithfulness is necessary in every area of our

Christian walk. The difference between a
successful and an unsuccessful Christian is
faithfulness (II Timothy 2:2). Living for God
is easier if you are sold out to Him. On the
contrary, it becomes very difficult if you live
the life of a compromiser and are always
trying to satisfy your sinful desires.

WE LIVE TO WORSHIP GOD

As Christians our purpose is to worship God.

We worship Him with everything we are and
everything we have. We worship Him with
instruments (Psalms 150). We worship Him
with our voices (Psalms 66). We worship Him
with our hands (1 Timothy 2). We worship
Him with our giving (2 Corinthians 9).

CHOOSE A CHURCH

It is important that you find yourself a

suitable, spirit-filled ministry where you can
associate with other Kingdom citizens. It is
difficult to grow spiritually if we do not join
with other believers in worship, prayer
meeting, bible study, etc. We are being
spiritually fed when we come together to
worship the Lord. Association brings
assimilation. (Heb 10:25; Ps 133:1-3).

When you have chosen a church to live out

your God-given potential, it is essential that
you submit yourself to the vision of that
particular ministry. Your presence and gifts
should add to the vision and not alter it. Your
obedience to leadership will be key to your
spiritual growth and the growth of the
ministry. If you are uneasy with the ministry,
ask God to help you discover the root of the
uneasiness. He will give you direction. Don’t
listen to gossip about the pastor or ministry,
but cover your spiritual leaders and the place
of worship God has positioned you in. (Heb.
13:7,17)

It is also important that you go to bible

studies, fellowship services, prayer meetings,
read your Bible, talk to the leaders of your
church regarding spiritual things.

LIVE HOLINESS STANDARDS

God is a holy God. He also demands of us to

be holy (different; set apart). In the Word of
God, there are standards that will cause us to
live this holy life that God expects of us. That
is why we need to be faithful in reading,
studying, memorizing and meditating the
Word. It contains principles of success. (Ps
96:9; 1Pet 1:5; 1Thess. 3:13)
