• 2” X 12” X 8’ Pine (or wood of choice)

• Tape measure, square & pencil

• Safety gear (glasses, dust mask, hearing protection)

• Circular Saw (or Miter Saw or Hand Saw)

• Jigsaw

• Orbital Sander (40, 80, & 120 grits)

• Stain (your choice)

• Spar Urethane

Construction Notes
• Watch the tutorial video for more instructions.

• Measure twice — cut once.

• 2” boards should work fine for most folks, but you may want to reinforce if heavy
set people will use the chair.

• Follow safety rules while building.

• Follow plans and make cuts.

• Test for fit and make adjustments.

• Sand surfaces and edges (40, 80, 120 grits)

• Wipe off dust, apply stain and let it dry overnight.

• Apply 3 to 4 coats of Spar Urethane.
