DO NOT: USE THE SWING FRAME FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN ITS INTENDED PURPOSE; ALTER THE FRAME;
OR ENGAGE MORE THAN 225LBS ON SWING. SWING MUST BE ANCHORED TO THE GROUND.

STEP ONE: DISASSEMBLE PALLETS
Using a reciprocating saw, disassemble the pallets.

A. Insert a BI-METAL blade into the reciprocating saw. This will


not work with other blades. The bi-metal blade can cut the nails safely and
easily.
B. Insert the blade between the top slats and middle supporting
2 x 4and cut through the nails.
C. To de-nail the slats, take a set of dikes and pull them out by the heads.

STEP TWO: CUT PALLETS


Cut 2 pallets into:
2 - 2x4 @ 48"
4 - 2x4 @ 16"
4 - 1x4 @ 22"
2 - 1x4 @ 11 1/4"
2 - 1x4 @ 22 1/2"
2- 1x4 @ 7 1/4
7 - 1x4 @ 48".

STEP THREE: BUILD FRAME
Build a basic 2 x 4 frame with two 48 2 x 4s and
four 16 2 x 4s, spaced 16 on center.
A. Your sides will the two 48 pieces, ribbed with the
16 ones.

STEP FOUR: ATTACH SUPPORTS


Attach back supports with bolts into
pre-drilled holes at the bottom, then
attach 48 1x4s to the front of these.

STEP FIVE:
Attach the back seat boards to the back supports using 1 wood screws, be sure to
off set the screws to add strength.

STEP SEVEN:
Attach the back and front arm supports.

STEP EIGHT:
Attach the top of the arm rest to the supports by pre drilling and using 1 5/8
wood screws.

Screw slats for the seat into the frame.

STEP NINE:
The eyebolt should be inserted on the top of the front of the left and right arms of the swing and the back of the left
and right arm. Attach the eyebolt to the arms of the swing a few inches from each end and in the center. Drill a hole
that is slightly smaller than the diameter of the eyebolt's threaded end. Take the threaded end of the eyebolt and
insert it into the hole. Turn the eyebolt by placing a screwdriver into the "eye" and turning it until the only thing you
see is the eye firmly against the wood. Make sure that there is an equal distance between the two eyebolts.

STEP TEN :
Assemble swing frame according to the manufacturers directions

STEP ELEVEN :
Attach swing to swing frame according to the manufacturers directions

PALLET PATIO SET

BOX OF #8 1 SCREWS Pencil
4 X 1 INCH STANDARD RUBBER CASTERS Drill Bit
(SWIVEL WITH BRAKE) Wood Glue
4 INCH SDS SCREWS

Backbrace (helpful when lifting)
STEP ONE:
Align one pallet on top of another and in each corner, using 1 screws, secure through the adjoining slats

Toe-nail your screws (insert them at an angle).

STEP TWO:
Now measure the width of your pallets and cut a 2 x 4 to that length
STEP THREE:
Affix the 2 x 4 with 1 screws underneath the top slats at the distance of your desired seat back
STEP FOUR:
Take another pallet and measure 19 into the middle on each side. Connect the line.
Repeat on the opposing side

STEP FIVE:

5. Run the circular saw down each of these lines, cutting your pallet into three pieces.
The two 19 lengths will your seat backing. Discard the third
STEP SIX:
Take your two seat backs and measure their length.

STEP SEVEN:

Cut a 2 x4 to length, and on open end of the seat back pieces, insert and attach
your 2 x 4, using the 1 screws.
STEP EIGHT:
Position the seat back above the 2 x 4 you affixed in step three, with the 2 x 4
end of the seat back facing down.

STEP NINE:
Attach the seat back using 4 SDS screws
STEP TEN:
Attach four casters in each corner of the bottom pallet.

FOR COUCH
Repeat steps above twice to make two separate chairs
Scab them together using a 2 1 x 3 on the front and back insides of the pallet
(Scab means using one piece of wood, attaching it to 2 other pieces of wood to form one continuous piece.)

FOR TABLE
Repeat steps 1-3 above
Attach four casters in each corner of the bottom pallet.
