Birthday Blessing

God of all creation,

we offer you grateful praise for the gift of life.
Hear the prayers of Fr. Mols, your servant,
who recalls today the day of his birth and rejoices
in your gifts of life and love, family and friends.

Bless him with your presence and surround him

with your live that he may enjoy many happy
years, all of them pleasing to you.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Blessing for the Community

Almighty Father,
You grace each of us with equal measure in your
love.
Let us learn to love our community more
deeply,
So that we can create
peaceful and a loving community.

Inspire us to use our creative energies

to build the structures we need
to overcome the obstacles
Of intolerance and indifference.
May Jesus provide us the example needed
and send the Spirit to warm our hearts for the
journey.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
