Prayers of thanksgiving
Almighty God, Father of all mercies, we give you thanks for all your kindness
and goodness to us and to all people. We bless you for creating us in your
own image, and for your love and guidance throughout our lives.
Above all we bless you for your redemption of our world by our Lord Jesus
Christ, for the means to seek grace, and for the hope of the glory to come.
Give us, Lord that sense of forgiveness and grace, that we may share with
others the Gospel of your truth, that our lips may speak your praise, our
hands may be given to serving you, and that we may walk with you in holiness
and righteousness all of our days. In the name of Jesus we pray… Amen

O God, our creator, Father and friend; what a wonderful gift of life you
have given to us, with its joys, with its responsibilities, its experiences and
opportunities. We praise you for our health, the shelter of our homes, the
love and loyalty of our friends and families. We praise you for work well
done, games well played, for the truth we have learned, and for the good
that with your help, we have been able to achieve.
We thank you for the teaching and example of our Lord Jesus Christ, for
the forgiveness and salvation we have through Him. We praise you for His
presence with us always and for the service into which he has called us.
Help us to express our thanks not only in words, but in the things we do for
others. Through Jesus Christ our Lord….Amen

Almighty and most wonderful God, from you comes every good and perfect
gift; we praise you and thank you for all your mercies to us. In your goodness
you created us, your bounty sustains us, your fatherly love has corrected
and guided us, your patience has borne with us and your love has redeemed
us. We praise you O Lord, for your Son our saviour, for your Spirit our
comforter, for your church which is our home of grace. We praise you for
your mercies to us Lord. Grant us with all your gifts a heart to love and
praise you, and enable us to show our thankfulness, by giving of ourselves to
You and for others. Through Jesus Christ our Lord… Amen

O Lord, open our mouths to speak your praise…

We thank you Father, for homes, friends, our families, those who love us.

those who protect us.
We thank you Father for those who have different opinions to us, those
that dislike us, those who don’t care.
We thank you Father for the care and love shown by those who have taught
us, those who have inspired us, those who have shown us Your ways.
O Lord, open our mouths to speak your praise….
As we thank you for Jesus, and His saving grace, every second of our lives…
Amen.
