Not many young people living in rural areas have access to a university

education. Some say that universities should make attendance easier for
people from rural areas.
To what extend do you agree or disagree with this statement?
It is true that college education is still out of reach for students born in rural
parts of developing countries. Many people hold the view that univerity
admittance ought to be made accessible to youngsters in rural communities.
Personally, I believe that something must be done to encourage countryside
students to receive adequate university education opportunities.
Admittedly, everybody should be entitled to tertiary education. We can not deny
that education will open the door to more chance for their lives. It is a common
knowledge that these days, people have to receive college qualifications to
secure a better job as well as enjoy a higher standard of living. In addition,
providing accessible education also reduces the gap between the rich and the
poor, between urban and remote regions.
Another point that we must take into consideration is that building more
universities and sending more well-qualified teachers to rural areas will be
beneficial for these communities. This is because students, after graduating from
institutions, might stay in their hometown to find jobs. Thus, they can contribute
to the society and improve rural living standard. Furthermore, attending school
in remote areas can save the young much money since cost of living in
countryside is much cheaper than that in city.
To conclude, as both urban and rural students have the right to go to university
and making college studying accessible to everyone can contribute to the
development of countrysides, building rural instuitions is capable of solving
various social problems. Moreover, government should take effective measure
to increase the rate of rural youth attending universities.
