NUMBER OF EMPLOYEE

Number of employee of the firm depends on the number of machine that are used for
manufacturing, current output, sales revenue, number of input, authorized capital stock,
acreage of land of factory, market share in the sector. Number of employee is very significant
factor for the firm because if you determine the number of employee as below of the required,
you will not reach the expected current output. These situations make the firm untrustworthy
firm and the market share in the sector will decrease sales revenue will decrease. Thus,
number of employee is important for the trustworthy and strength of the firm. As an example
any firm that gets product from our main firm, and they wanted certain amount of ethylene
and if the pace of manufacturing to deliver on time, other customer firm will not prefer main
firm that produce ethylene. Our number of employee is 389 employees. 79 people of these
employees are white collar, 310 people are blue collar. Actually the number of employee can
be 370 employees for the 100% efficiency of manufacturing but we gave the tolerance as 5%
ratio of number of employee as 19 people. Blue collar employees generally work with their
physical power for the firm but white collar employees work with their brain power such as
for design, planning of manufacturing, engineering, manufacturing process, quality control
and management, research and development, maintenance and repairmen, marketing etc. We
can divide our employees like that;

 If any problem occurs about the pace of manufacturing, this extra employee number
will help about the current output. This problem cause the decreasing of the market share in
the sector and trustworthy of the firm. Our current output is 250,000 ton of year. In the
manufacturing, the importance of automation increased as time passes by because the current
output must be increased and mass production must be existed and automation is important
for the mass production. In the automation, there must be numerical control for the
automation because there are machines in the automation and these machines works with the
direction of numeric control. We can say that are numerical control machines. For any
problem about the numerical machines, white collar employees will work.
