Introduction

1. Boiler structure and feature

Nobeth fully automatic fuel oil(gas) steam boiler is developed to


meet the industrial demand of small heating equipment. It is vertical
type, to reduce the space of boiler. Using natural gas and oil as fuel
can meet the environmental control requirements and increased
automation.

This boiler use return pipe structure, set a combustion chamber in


a upright furnace with large combustion space and radiation heating
surface. The return pipe smoke tube use threaded new technologies,
to maximize the heat transfer. Lower exhaust gas temperature,
increase thermal efficiency under the premise that the structure is
compact.

To facilitate boiler maintenance and operations, there have a


active smoke box door at the top of the boiler, which is convenient
to inspect and clean the smoke pipe; while the lower part is provided
with a cleaning door.

Main function:

 Using pressure controller to set pressure range, automatic


start and stop boiler.

 Overpressure shutdown protection.

 Automatic water supply.

 Low water level shutdown protection.

 Automatic combustion control

 Boiler room location and arrangement shall comply with the


relevant requirements of safety, environmental protection, fire
protection, etc.

 Installation site should be close to the final steam location,


and easy to water and drain.

Gas system

Gas supply system set correctly or not directly


related to security and economic operation of the boiler,
the total requirement is met to provide a stable
fuel(steady pressure and flow rate) to the boiler burner,
meanwhile, requires fitting has a good performance and
quality. For gas fired boiler, one of the biggest insecurity
is gas leak, prevent and detect gas leakage is a key part
of gas system.

 Gas should be sent to the burner with the shortest distance.


The pressure loss should be as small as possible, the
diameter of gas pipe should be bigger than burner fitting
pipe. Pipe wall should be corrosion-resistant.

 Should ensure a good seal of the entire system and all


piping and fittings should be pressure tested to twice the
working pressure, at least 200mbar.

 Setting gas filter ensure clean gas.

 Install leak detection devices.

 Setting the gas high, low pressure protection switch.

 Pressure monitor, prevent poor ventilation leads to


deflagration.

 For large capacity boiler, we recommend to install the


safety discharge valve, the discharge pipe should be
leaded outside to a safe location.

 There should set a manual shut-off valve on the pipeline.

1) Water supply system

Common water supply system is generally consist of the


following components:

Use requirements of the pump: the entrance pressure of water


pump should not exceed 0.4MPa; in order to prevent pipeline
debris move into the pump, there should have a filter in the
system, and the flow area should be greater than 2 times of the
pipe cross-section.

2) Main steam pipe

Main steam pipe extending straight section should be greater


than 0.5m, the lowest place of pipeline should set a drain valve,
the main steam pipe should be insulated.

Safety devices

This boiler use full lift spring-loaded safety valve, the safety valve
should be installed in the exhaust pipe, exhaust pipe should be
through a safe place, and have sufficient flow area to ensure the
smooth flow of the exhaust, and exhaust pipe should be fixed.

Exhaust valve at the bottom of the tube should be fitted with


drain pipe which connected to a place of safety. Do not install any
valve on the exhaust pipe and drain pipe.

3) Sewage pipe

Minimize the elbow of sewage pipe to ensure the smooth flow


when installing. The sewage pipe should be connected to a
outdoor safety location, or sewage tanks.

4) Flue gas channel

The boiler chimney is located directly above the boiler to


minimize the horizontal length and elbow should be installed,
because this is pressurized combustion boiler, flue resistance
need to reply on the burner blower to overcome.

Flue gas extraction pipes is recommended to set the


thermometer.

Chimney height determined in accordance with the requirements


of environmental protection, to be top of the chimney
fortification rain hat.

Flues and chimneys weight must not be supported by boiler.

5) Boil out

the installation process, so as to ensure that the boiler cleaning,
to ensure safe operation and to obtain varieties of steam boiler
and increase thermal efficiency.

Cooking stove can use sodium hydroxide(NaOH), trisodium


phosphate(Na3PO4.12H2O) and other drugs, the dosage of
sodium hydroxide and trisodium phosphate are 2~3kg/t of water,
cooking these drugs should be formulated as a concentration
20% of the homogeneous solution may not be the drug directly
into the boiler.

Before independently operating the boiler, fireman should


confirm the following preparatory work is completed:

 Fireman should have passed the examination, the holder can operate
independently.

 Before operating, fireman staff and related person must be familiar


with the safety rules and equipment.

6) Start boiler

When you first start the boiler or for some reason when you
restart the boiler after shutdown, the following should be
checked and ready:

 Each trachea interfaces, steam pipes, water pipes,


sewage pipes are intact, have no leakage

 Water supply equipment is normal.

 Sealing surface is tight, the flue gas channel is


unblocked.

 Water level below the water level control

 Close the boiler water level gauge and drain valve.

 Open the water supply valve.

 Supply pump switch to "automatic water supply"


position.

 Open the burner main switch, power.

Completion of the above preparations, fireman staff simply


open the operation switch, the boiler will set a good program
and step by normal combustion.

7) Normal operation

In order to achieve normal operation, drum water level must


be within normal steam pressure stable, duty fireman must
strengthen the monitoring of the various mechanical
equipment and instruments to ensure the safe and reliable
operation of the boiler to prevent accidents.

 Pot temperature

Automatic control by level controller and electrode alarm


structure.

Note: You should regularly check the water level control an


alarm sensitivity and reliability.

 Water table

Rinse water table at least once per shift to keep the water level
glass clean, ensure that the visual part of the water table is
clear, the water level is correct and reliable, if found that the
glass gasket leaks or steam leakage, should be tightened or
replaced litter.

 Pressure gauge

Should regularly test the pressure gauge is working correctly,


if found damaged or malfunctioning pressure gauge should
immediately shutdown to repair or replacement, in order to
ensure the correctness of the pressure gauge, check at least
once every six months.

 Pressure controller

Should regularly check the sensitivity and reliability of the


pressure controller.

 Sewage

Usually the feed water contains many minerals, these


substances will be deposited in the pot to form scale, the
greater the amount of evaporation, longer uptime, the more
deposits. In order to prevent accidents due to the boiler scale
and slag, please ensure water quality and reduce the alkalinity
of boiler water; usually when the boiler water alkalinity greater
than 20 mEq / l, you need sewage.

8) Emergency shutdown

Shutdown if you meet the following situation when operating:

 Boiler water level below the water table minimum visual


edge; automatic water feed pump or system failure, no
water transfer to the boiler.

 Water table or safety device failure.

 Pressure gauge or pressure controller fails.

 Boiler component damage and endanger the safety of


operating person.

 Other exceptions.

3. Maintenance

 Daily maintenance recommended.

1) Boiler blowdown, water level gauge and other hydrophobic


work.

2) Check the water quality to meets the requirements.

3) Check the combustion device and the fuel supply is normal.

4) Check the water level of the gauge.

5) Check the feed pump and automatic water supply system is


normal.

 Weekly maintenance recommended.

Confirm low water protection relay work normally.

 Monthly maintenance recommended

1) Check flame monitor with a dry cloth and gently rub the
fireside surface of the detector.

2) Cleaning the pump filter.

3) Check electric actuators, action is sensitive, ground and


neutral wire are reliability.

4) Confirm throttle controller setpoint.

 Maintenance every six months recommended.

1) Cleaning the burner fan.

2) Check the water level in the control and alarm device
