Human Resource Management


Course Description .1
Success in today’s competitive business environment is increasingly the function
of effective management of its resources, particularly, employees. The quality of
the organization’s employees, their enthusiasm, and satisfaction with their jobs,
and their sense of fair treatment all impact the firm’s productivity, level of
customer service, reputation, and survival.
The students in HRM must be aware of comprehensive aspects of human resource
management to understand the functioning of human resource management and its
impact on the organization.
2- Aims of the Course: this course aims are to:
1. Demonstrate a broad understanding of the human resources management
topics within organization.
2. Critically analyze the implications of implementing human resources
strategies within organizations.
3. Propose solutions to organizational problems through the use of human
resource management strategies.

Group Assignment and presentation:

1- Each group will prepare a presentation. Each member will present two articles in the
chosen topic by the group. The articles should be summarized and focus on: title,
author, objectives, methodology, and results. References should be clearly cited at
the end of your presentation.
2- Presentation duration should be within 30 minutes for the whole group.
3- Your presentation will be assessed and graded from 20 marks.
4- A hard copy and a soft copy should be submitted on the day of your presentation.

Group formation:

Each group will consist of 3 members.

Work will be divided among members according to your own discretion; however you
should note that your 20 marks term work will be placed on the group performance.
