The Box In The Attic

There was a family who had just moved into a large, but
empty house. Lucas's parents had completely decorated the
house except for the small attic filled with alot of useless
junk. Out of curiosity Lucas decided to explore the small attic
above his room, he snuck into it and the first thing he saw
was a bunch of papers and bunch of bubble wrap.
He was excited to pop the bubble wrap but quickly went back
to bed since it was late at night.
The next day, Lucas woke up at 8:00 A.M excited to see the
rest of the stuff in the attic.
He first brushed his teeth and went down to eat breakfast.
His parents greeted him and asked him what he thought
about the new house. To which Lucas replied, "Its a nice and
 big house but to be honest, it is a bit empty but I like it!"
Lucas's parents thought the same
and they finished eating breakfast and decided to head to
work. Right after his parents left, Lucas rushed to the attic
excited to explore more of it, and when he entered, he
popped the bubble wrap which was oddly satisfying for him.
He then took a look at the papers but they were quite boring.
Lucas then noticed a picture of the previous family who lived
here glued to the wall, Lucas coughed a bit since the attic was
pretty dusty.
Lucas explored the rest of the attic just to be dissapointed but
then noticed a small box which looked like a treasure chest in
the corner of the attic. He rushed to the box excited to open
it but couldn't since it needed a key to open. Lucas took the
key he saw earlier in the attic and used it to unlock the
 box and to his suprise it opened, and the first thing he saw
inside was another picture of the previous family in the park
with their kid on the swings. Lucas had a happy look on his
face. He saw a stack of 200 dollars in the box, Lucas got
excited and quickly grabbed it saying, "Woah! Maybe this
could be enough to buy the bike I wanted!" Lucas has been
wanting a bike for a long time. There were also a bunch of
tennis balls which could be useful for when Lucas plays tennis
with his dad. The last thing he noticed was a note saying, "If
someone is reading this you are free of taking the stuff in the
box :) - Aaron."
When Lucas's parents got home he impatiently told them
about what he had found in the attic. "We can't take some
random person's stuff without their consent. Maybe we
should ask the neighbors if they are in contact with the family
so we could
 give back their stuff." said his father. Lucas got a bit upset
then went upstairs to his bedroom where he left the note. "
Here! See! We can keep it!" said Lucas waving the note in his
hands while running down the stairs. Both his parents
laughed as they read the note. "Well then you're getting a
bike" said Lucas's mother with a smile. Lucas couodn't
contain his excitement and ran around the house, screaming.
At the end of the day Lucas got his brand new bike and
couldn't have been more happy.
