     The Weather problem of cambodia

Hello teacher, today I'm going to talk about the weather in cambodia. In
Cambodia they have 2 season weather like summer from november to april
and Spring from may to october. The problems of the weather in Cambodia
are the hailstorm , thunderstorm, hurricanes from September or October
and the Flash Flood. Yesterday I saw the air just like the sandstorm which
is very terrifying even last week on wednesday. Even the black clouds are
making people scared, even the look of the city of Phnom Penh.It is
because of the natural disaster that came out of nowhere even the trees,
hills and mountains are slowly getting destroyed. What WE can do about
the weather is reduce the amount of carbon dioxide that comes from trucks,
cars and motorcycles. We can monitor the weather that is happening in the
current time. We should grow a lot of trees that can save the flood for
people. Only difference is trying to save the environment and the floods
that might take a lot of damage.

Homework

Cambodia has issued a warning over lightning storms and strong winds between today and May
18th. Basically, the problem is all about the weather that Cambodia has never faced before such
as the heavy scattered rain, storm and strong winds.MOWRAM explained the phenomena by
the growing influence of the southwest monsoon on Cambodia.According to the text, a house
collapsed and killed a person yesterday in Chi Yok village, Kampong Chin Tbong commune,
Stoung district, Kompong Thom province. The victim was identified as Hear Sohun, 18, while
four others sustained injuries. The cause of the collapse was due to a group of craftsmen
attempting to lift a wooden house, when some of the props sank in the ground.Around last
week, Cambodia experienced some fierce gust and storm, leveling or damaging around more
400 houses and leaving around 2000 people homeless. The only thing that we can do to solve
this problem is to stay at home. While being at home it can prevent us from type of diseases and
unintentional accidents
CHILLING..
The problems
 Houses and personal belongings are being destroyed in the countryside
 Electricity is being cut off often.
Why it’s happening
 There are strong winds affecting the electricity
 Big storm is blowing up many houses due to lack of natural sources to protect us from
the aggressive weather.
What can we do
 Help planning more trees
 Keep the environment clean
 Use less energy
 Limit the use of natural commodity
PARAGRAPH
I was in my online class when the clouds started to go darker and darker like smoke
from burns. I thought it was a normal rain but then the electricity was cut off suddenly. I rush out
of my room to check why it is off . Then I saw my sister and auntie dashing to close the windows
and doors around the house. I didn’t ask them what’s going on because I could feel the strong
wind passing through my skin and it made me shiver for a little. Out of nowhere the rain broke
through without any sign. I can’t study since the electricity was cut off so I sat and watched the
rain falling. A bright lightning came into my sight which made me flitch. Then the wind started
growling creepily and the storm was playing harshly because I could see the trees dancing to
salsa music. My room window is shaking due to powerful winds and it’s really cold. As the night
began the storm hadn’t stopped. Morning arrived there are news and posts all over social media
on how scary the storm last night was. Houses by the countryside were being blown and
destroyed, many belongings of Khmer citizens were destroyed. I was absent due to my
electricity. I think if we have enough natural sources the wind wouldn’t be this strong because of
the protection from trees and plants. Lack of greens is also a big reason to cause huge storms.
We should plant more trees and reduce cutting them. If planning trees are hard with you, you
can reduce the amount of energy you use from electricity or the wooden furniture, gold or silver
because they are healthy to the Earth. Without them there would be many natural disasters.

Dear student B
Hi! I am Cheata. You know that I am on vacation at Disney. I want to tell you something
about my vacation. Right now In Disney, it has a dust storm. I am so nervous about it. I already
have told to my mom and she tells me to go back. I also to tell her to chill out but still, she wants
me to go back. And right now I think it dies down because I have size up with it. I want to hold
off on this decision. I don’t want to go back yet because I haven’t visited the places that I have a
plan to visit. It makes me so sad about this. Also, if a dust storm doesn’t happen I will put off my
fly and go to buy some souvenirs for my family but  I have to put up with flying back home. So
see you soon and I will tell you more about it when I am there.

Dear Mss Nafisa,

Currently, I’m on a vacation here in Australia ( Sydney ). I was chilling out here in my room and
just a few moments ago there was a huge dust storm that broke through the street near my
hotel. My whole family plans to do some shopping around the mall but I guess we have to put it
off and wait until the storm dies down. We also have a plan to go to the beach this afternoon,
and I guess I have to call it off too because of the storm. Ughhh, I have to stay in my room for
an entire day ! This storm really ruined my trip a lot ! I’ll message you later if there’s any problem
here. Goodbye ! Have a good day !

From, Viphou.

Hello my good friend John,

I think I might need to change my plans on and put off traveling to New York. For the last 2
days, there was a very large blizzard in Toronto, the city that I’m visiting right now. Outside, I
think there is 150cm of snow covering the ground. And I don’t think the blizzard is going to die
down anytime soon. I think I might have to stay here and hold off for a few day until the weather
is safe enough to go to meet you in New York City in about 4 days. See you soon John

Hey Anna!
I was so rushed to send you this email text. During these days off I’m visiting Miami Florida.
Now I’m staying in the hotel but there’s been a huge storm with violent wind outside. Right now I
can’t think off
anything and I don’t know what to do . I’m just freeze up. But one of my next door neighbor told
me to sit and calm down so that I can think of a way to go home. I want to call on you but
unfortunately the internet connection was cut off since the weather is extremely unpleasant and
likely to cause harm and damage. I planned to check out of the hotel today at 7 Pm and go to
the airport directly. Since there’s a hurricane I size up the situation and I don’t think I can flight
back to Cambodia so I will hold off my flight until the situation becomes better. I’ll find out and
get back to you soon.

Imagine you are planning a trip to the South Pole. Write a paragraph describing what you
will bring on your trip and what preparations you need to make before leaving.
KHUNSA

If I were to go on a trip to the South Pole, I’d make sure I am very prepared.  Like very prepared,
down to the bone. Because a trip to the South Pole isn't going to be a safe trip. I’d make sure
that I would be prepared for any type of situation. And I would also make sure that I would be
able to have fun too. So if i were to go to the South Pole, I would bring warm clothing like about
one or two jackets just so I can stay extra warm when I need to, I would also bring some food
like cup ramen or marshmallows with crackers if I ever feel like making smores on a cold winter
night in the South Pole. I would also bring some hiking gears if I feel like going on a hike in the
snowy mountains. I would most likely also bring a lot of blankets just so I can stay warm and
NOT get frostbite because getting sick in the South Pole is probably one of the worst things that
could happen since there won’t be any hospitals there. And to fix the no hospitals problems I
would also bring a medkit and alot of snacks. Going to the South Pole seems like a fun idea,
and while it is fun you also must not forget about your own safety. The South Pole is an area
that is constantly cold so your health is your top priority. So if you are ever planning on going to
The South Pole, remember to stay safe.

CHANPIROM
Hello teacher, Today i’m going to talk about what I should bring
when i’m going to the south pole. First is the cold weather Jacket,
hoodie. It keeps me warm for nearly a long time when it is cold.
Second is the gloves. Gloves keep my hand from frost when it is
very cold to touch the snow and ice. The winter hat, it will keep
your head, brain and your hair warm from it is brain freeze ,
snowing. The lighter , it is very cold at the south pole. You should
bring a lighter for the campfire to keep you warm. The scarf to
keep your neck warm when it is snowing , cold. Sneakers and
boots, you should wear those sneakers, boots and socks because
you are walking in the snow, also it keeps your feet warm from
freezing. Don’t wear sandals / flip flop shoes, it will freeze your
feet. Don’t walk on bare feet. It would be a bad idea to freeze your
foot. Food supplies you should bring when you are hungry in the
middle trip. It prevents you from starving. Backpack , you must
wear the backpack because you are going to carry supplies to
help your survivability and road trip. Camera , You  should bring
that because you are going to take amazing pictures like places,
your friends, your blog and the culture. Your phone, Due to
traveling to another place like the south pole. You can find and
call your friends when they get lost. Also you can post on social
media about the place , culture , tradition, etc. Money, especially
when you’re going to places, you might spend on food, visit
places , souvenirs , even the rent of the place. That’s all, thank
you for reading teacher.

CHILLING
As the sunrise I remembered that today was the day! The day I’m going to The South Pole
and have fun. I guessed it would be fun because cold weather gives me enthusiasm. I prepared
my things for the trip. I hear voices of people chatting through the airport as I carried heavy bags
filled with personal things. My friends were already on their way to the plane while I waited in a
line as long as a full grown anaconda. When we took off I felt asleep and woke up in the eyes of
icey land underneath me before we landed. I can see snow falling gently on the icy surface. I
wondered if I would see a polar bear? We landed and prepared our things in our small cozy
dorm. There are only a few people in this place, and mostly are scientists and military. I kneeled
down on the icy platform to touch it and it gave me an Elsa vibe. It was a trip so soon after
teachers and students were sent to the science room to get toured. It was interesting. As the
noon ended evening came the weather started to be frigid. It’s extremely cold that I can’t stay in
the snow even if I put on 10 jackets. Me and my friends enjoyed some tea in front of the lit up
fireplace. The smell and the taste of the tea really feel like I’m at a tea party during Christmas.
Though I haven’t seen a polar bear yet, many students were feeling homesick so we are
planning to get back by tomorrow afternoon. So as soon as the morning came me and my
mates went outside with the best jacket and scarf we could find to reduce the cold. We
wandered around the frozen sea but we didn’t find a polar bear. We saw some fish swimming
below the frozen sea just like an aquarium with icy glass. We talked to some military people and
had fun throughout the morning soon after we prepared our things, took pictures (many pictures
cause we can’t forget this memorable time) and took off into the air. I watched below my plane
window and saw a POLAR BEAR! Like what? Why can’t you just come before I take off you bad
polar bear. I took a video of it but it was so small I didn’t know if people would believe it's a polar
bear.

Visal.

Imagine if I’m planning to go on a trip to the South Pole , I’m preparing lots of foods & warm
drinks. Of course I’m going to bring lots of clothes that are gonna warm me in that place. I will
pack up a few packs of first aid kit so if there’s gonna be something happen we will have lots of
first aid kit to heal our injuries. The weather is cold there so I have to wait until the weather
becomes a little more mild so I can go there. The trip is dangerous but we need to experience
everything. There’s no food there so of course we bring 3 bags of foods & drinks to survive the
trip. We need to camp there so we will set everything up then sleep over there! If there’s
anything dangerous or insane happy , I will note everything out and when I come back to the
real world I will write a book about my experience & story that happened over there in South
Pole , Antarctica.

If I go to the South Pole I'll bring…

The South Pole is a part of the earth that is so cold! And if I go there I'll prepare a lot of stuff to
keep me warm and healthy, but it will be hard because I live in Cambodia and in Cambodia it is
like 33-37⁰C it's so hot. And in the south Pole it's -10 to -20⁰ it's so cold.
So I'll bring a phone and some accessories to keep my phone alive and safe. I will use my
phone to entertain me anytime and for emergencies too. I'll bring some food or snacks to eat
and a water boiler so I can boil water to drink it. And Some other living supplies, I think the
people there might have something for me too.I'll wear a jacket and warm earphone socks and
gloves, I'll need to cover my whole body.  So I can just bring a warmer blanket or pillow. And a
first aid kit, it's very important. I'll use it when I have a cut or bruise or when I catch a cold. When
I arrive I'll make a tent and prepare some stuff in the tent. And live by eating and drinking warm
stuff. It's hard to imagine (〒﹏〒). It will be snowy and cold and windy too.
