ch 3, 3-tr-cl in any lp on inner edge of 3rd
braid ring, [ch 3, 3-tr-cl in next lp on
same ring] 8 times, ch 3, join with sl st to
tip of first tr-cl, fasten off.
Rnd 2: Attach CC to any ch-3 sp on last
rnd, ch 4, tr in next sp and each sp
around, join in top of ch-4, fasten off.
REMAINING SMALL FILL-IN MOTIFS
Rnd 1: Skip next 2 lps on 2nd braid ring,
attach MC to next lp, ch 4, 2-tr-cl in
same lp, [ch 3, 3-tr-cl in next lp] 3 times,
ch 3, 3-tr-cl in 11th free lp on inner edge
of 3rd braid ring following last fill-in mo­
tif, [ch 3, 3-tr-cl in next lp] 8 times, ch 3,

join with sl st to tip of first tr-cl, fasten
off. (2 lps left free on 2nd and 3rd rings)
Rnd 2: Rep Rnd 2 of first small fill-in motif.
Sew adjacent 2 free lps on each ring together.
FOURTH BRAID RING
Make strip of braid same as 3rd braid ring.
Sew any 2 lps on inner edge of 4th ring
to center 2 lps over any motif on 3rd
ring, leave next 9 lps free on both rings,
sew groups of 2 lps together all around.

LARGE FILL-IN MOTIF (make 8)
Rnd 1: Attach MC to first free lp bet joined
