Comparatives and Superlatives Question Time

Activity Type Introduction

Ask students the questions. Encourage the students to give
detailed answers by asking follow-up questions, e.g. 'When did

40 minutes have them cut their questions into cards as indicated.

Students then pair up with someone from the other group. The
students shuffle their own question cards and place them in a
pile, face down in front of them.

Students take it in turns to pick up one of their question cards


and ask the question to their partner. Encourage the students to
give detailed answers and keep the conversation going by asking
follow-up questions. This continues until all the questions have
been asked and answered.

Afterwards, get feedback from the students on what they found


out about their partner. Discuss any interesting findings in more
detail.
