Fabrication & Manufacturing of Prestressed Hollow Core slab


(Hollow area 25 to 30%) of different thickness & modular width

methodology informing to IS 10297- 1982 conforming to IS : 10297-
1982 by using long line casting method having arrangement of
proper steel bed. Concreting should be done by batch mixing
plant capable of producing zero slump concrete, transported
through automatic shuttels of standard make & layed on bed

provision of steam curing. Cutting, making necessary cutout/holes

Main door of guest room shall be 35mm thick flush door with 3mm thick veneering

3mm veneering (natural teak wood shade or equivalent) on one face and polyvinyl
film coated on other side.

Factory made hot dipped Galvanized pressed steel door frames single rebate of size
105 x 60 mm conforming to IS: 4351, manufactured from commercial galvanized

thickness, including jamb, lock jamb, head and if required angle threshold of mild
steel angle of section 50x25 mm, or base ties of 1.60 mm, pressed mild steel
welded or rigidly fixed together by mechanical means, including mortar guards,
lock strike plate and shock absorbers as specified and hollow portion filled with
polyurethane foam (PUF) of density not less than 40kg/cum as directed by

Factory made Single leaf galvanized steel sheet Flush door shutter of thickness
2.3 42mm shall be manufactured from 0.8mm thick hot dipped Galvanized steel sheet
with reinforcement of 1.6mm thick steel Channel at top, bottom and edges of
shutter and also if required extra members shall be provided for additional
protection as per direction of Engineer- in- charge. The door shutter must not have
any crevice or joint. The infill material shall be with polyurethane foam (PUF) of
density not less than 40kg/cum.
The frame & Shutter shall be provided with necessary slots/provisions for fixing
accessories like door close, handles, locks, door stoppers etc. The frame & Shutter
shall be applied with Epoxy Zinc-Phosphate primer and finished with polyurethane
paint of (minimum dry film thickness 80 microns) of approved shade and colour as
per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Wardrobe should provided with ferro cement shelves. All the wood work shall be
provided with 18mm BWP grade plywood finished with 3mm thick veneering (of
2.3 shade natural teak or equivalent) on external face and 1mm laminate on internal
face, all with SS 304 grade fittings complete as per approved drawings and
direction of Engineer – In – Charge.

3 STEEL WORK :
3.1 MS Grill in windows
All windows should be fitted with MS grill (minimum weight 10 kg per sqm) as

Note: For uPVC frame, sash and mullion extruded profiles minus 5% tolerancein
dimension i.e. in depth & width of profile shall be acceptable. Variation in profile
dimension in higher side shall be accepted but no extra payment on this account
shall be made.
Casement window single panel with S.S. friction hinges (400 x 19 x 1.9 mm) made
of (big series)frame 67 x 60 mm & sash 67 x 80 mm both having wall thickness of

3.2 UPVC Windows & Ventilators with frame

Three track UPVC frame with double shutters with glazed panels & other with wire
mesh (of SS grade304 powder coated) shutter as per approved drawing and
matching UPVC Extruded frames sections with minimum wall thickness 2.2 mm.

4 FLOORING :
Providing and laying Vitrified tiles in different sizes (thickness to be specified
by manufacturer), with water absorption less than 0.08 % and conforming to
I.S. 15622, of approved make, in all colours & shade, in skirting, riser of steps,

Kitchen, Store room :- With 22mm minimum thick Kota stone
Electrical room, store rooms : Kota stone of 22 mm flooring with rubber mats in

Providing and laying Polished Granite stone flooring in required design and
patterns, in linear as well as curvilinear portions of the building all complete as
per the architectural drawings with 18 mm thick stone slab over 20 mm (average)

4.2 Skirting

4.3 Kitchen
Kitchen should be designed as industrial kitchen so that all modern cooking
equipment and appliances for mass cooking can be accommodated. However,
mechanical ventilation and kitchen equipment are outside scope of this work.
Full height wall cladding with glazed tile of minimum size 600 mm x 300 mm in
kitchen laid with adhesive.

Providing and fixing Ist quality ceramic glazed wall tiles conforming to IS: 15622
(thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of approved make, in all colours,
shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineerin-

b)Staircase: Landing, Tread and riser
Single length 16mm thick Granite flooring with suitable moulding fixed with
dado/skirting up to 1000 mm height. The riser height of staircase should not be
more than 150 mm and tread width not be less than 300mm.
c) Fully exposed columns inside the building
Fully exposed columns inside the buildings if proposed shall be fully covered with
16mm thick granite wall lining (veneer work) of colour & textures as approved by
the Engineer – in – charge . In case of circular column, Satin finished SS sheet of
304 grade may be used to full height.
5 ROOFING
with
zinc coating of 120 gms/sqm (both side inclusive) as per IS : 277 and consisting of
angle cleats of size 25 mm wide x 1.6 mm thick with flanges of 27 mm and 37mm,

6.3 External finishing
External wall surface shall be finished with texture finish and smooth finish in 3:1
or so ratio. Smooth finish areas to be treated with cement based wall putty in two

@ 300mm spacing in both ways over 75mm thick bed of sand, Half brick masonry
edging laid lengthwise to 150mm depth and finishing with floating coat of neat
cement punning and false squares on top and finishing the exposed brick work and
concrete edge with cement plaster etc, complete.
