4. Introduction :
The report has been prepared for the M/s.A.M.Agro Industries for assessing the feasibility of the unit
producing Biomass Bricketting plant from Agricultural waste at gat no___, at post Hasori[BK] Taluka
Nilanga, District Latur. The main object of the report is to study and assess the economic, marketing and
technical feasibility of the bricks unit. The project also highlights on the prospects of this type of unit.
The project report is that manufacturing bricert from Agricultural Waste. The unit shall be proprietary
concern of Azaruddin Mustaffa Mulla is having good environment and location and feasible for Bricket
unit. Its development in industries has been taking place with a repaid speed. With increasing population
and the corresponding increase in industrialization, the demand for bricket is ever increasing as
alternative source of fuel. Its s production can be right from small scale to large scale through automatic
machines.
Thus the entire picture is very stimulating of promising with the development of industrial &
infrastructure thirst in maharashtra & all adjacent states. The growth of development is expected to be
tremendous. This is likely to may fold the prospectus of local Manufacturing industry & all its ancillaries.

7. Market Survey :
The unit is going to be located near Nilanga Taluka Latur District which is near to
Udgir,Omerga, Bhalki, Bidar, Latur etc.The market shall be mainly entire Maharashtra &
Karnataka State.
Presently & considering future 25-30 years there is too much scope for industrial activity in this
area. Also as the nearby area is industrial area therefore the demand of bricket increasing more
& more day by day. By launching of massive Programme for house industrialisation &
declaration of growth centre the scope for such units has widened.
A preliminary survey indicated that there is always shortage of bricket as fuel in this area as
bricket is very cheap compare to furnace as used in boilers further proprietor’s son have taken 1
year experience in this line hence she has good knowledge of market.
Considering these fact it can be well concluded that market has so constraint.
Materials with higher moisture content first to be dried and to bring moisture level down.
Materials from the Conveyor are discharged with the help of Conveyor warm & gear.
Material in the feeder box is compressed by the press forcing it through tapper die (ram punch)
fitted in the Die Holder.
- Raw Material :
The raw materials required are Agricultural waste , etc. All these raw material are none banned.
These are available freely in open market & no problem shall be faced in their acquiring.
- Power:
Power required is 100 HP only single phase since the unit is going to be located at gat
no_____.The power supply will be easily available from MSEB sub division office. The
proprietor has already applied for power connection.
- Water :
Water is already available at site with good potable water. The water requirement is mainly for
manufacturing of bricks consumption purpose. Bore-well water is sufficient for both these
purpose.
- Transportation:
The brick shall be transported by way of road transport. The location of unit is just 20 kms. Away
from Nilanga As well as Omerga where there are number of transport operators, operate on this
road & as such no transportation problem is foreseen.
- Assistant :
Labour requirement for this unit is heavy. The labours can be easily available from near places.
There is no any technical work so unskilled labours can do this work any difficulty. Also
proprietor has enough experience. So there is no such problem anticipated for labours.

Technology :-
Biomass densification which is also known as briquetting of sawdust and other agro
residues has been practiced for many years in several countries
Product Specification :-
Fuel briquette is black / brown in color when agro waste of cellular nature is briquetted
it produces low cost, high calorific value fuel which can from a good substitute for wood
and coal this implies conversion of waste into a useful energy source.
Cost: - The purchase price of biomass is than natural gas propane and fuel oil, coal is a
bit lower in price but ultimately it is NOT cheaper because of the many benefits of
biomass briquettes as discussed below.
Pollution :-
Briquettes are immeasurably cleaner than the other fuel alternatives – especially coal,
therefore government incentives that support briquetting systems and production along
with dis – incentives for coal use make briquetting solutions extremely attractive plus
they don’t create dust.
Efficiency :-
Briquettes burn in a controlled manner slow and efficiently they burn well in boilers and
burners more and more utility companies are using biomass briquettes to supplement
or replace coal as a solid fuel source.
Bio Stove :-
Bio stove is a smokeless high efficient eco – friendly stove for cooking kitchen
application. Bio – stove design is high combustion of Fuel due to gasification effect at
top side. Blower gives enough.

Government have very huge thurst for rural economy mainly agriculture hence
Main rawmaterial require for this unit will be available in ample quantity.
Further due to good rain even in current year there will be more than required
Rawmaterial available for biomass briquette manufacturing unit.
According to this project this unit will running very smoothly. We have concluded that this
Biomass Briqueet unit having sufficient capacity cash generated even at 50% capacity also for
repayment of loan.
