The Social Protection Program for Teenage Mothers and Children
(SPPTMC) seeks to coordinate current programs and social security
interventions of all governments. It was designed to avoid overlap and to
improve the focus of areas and recipients. In particular, for creating
interventions and strategies, the government must align and coordinate
poverty reduction with social protection. Through this program, it aims to
provide education and enhance the well-being of adolescents, especially
mothers and their children, for a better quality of life.

POPCOM Caraga is optimistic that this major event will contribute to
achieving the full potential, better and improved quality of life for teen
mothers and their children, and vows to support in rolling out of this
campaign.
