PART 1

- My fav book is Harry Potter, a fantasy novel written by British author. I reread this book
time and time again. It describes the life of young wizard Harry Potter and his two best
friends Ron and Hermione. They have to struggle to kill Lord Voldemort who is so immoral.
Thanks to this book, I realized that determination and efforts play an essential role in
achieving my goal as well as the power of love and friendship.
Reading this book not only help me to relax but also cheers me up whenever I feel blue.
- My fav film is Harry Potter, the movie adaptation of the same name novel.
- My fav food is steamed rolled pancakes. It looks like a soft spring with meat but the recipe
is more complicated than that. You start with a steamed rice roll cooked on a pot which is
covered by a thin fabric. Until the rice roll is very thin, it will then be scrapped off the pot with
a bamboo stick. After that, the roll is filled with a mixture of pork, wood ear mushrooms,
onions, and fish sauce. From the smell to the taste, everything is just enough to make your
mouth watering. It is a quick and delicious day starter.
- My fav season is winter. I like the cold weather, which always makes the sky seem so blue.
I enjoy being able to see my breath in the cold air. In summer, it's difficult to keep cool
outside, but in winter, it's easy to keep warm. It's also great hugging friends and family.
Winter also has the best holidays. I love getting together with my family and then celebrating
the New Year.
- For me, I am interested in the pop music. It is an impressive sound that can give you
comfortable and chill feelings. Normally on rainy days, opening a pop song and sing along to
my favorite Vũ hits, have a cuppa and let my hair down, music will do the rest.
- I used to enjoy playing badminton but now I really enjoy running. Running are great ways to
keep my body in a good shape because it allow me to experience nature, as well as
exercise. Running also make me relax after many stress of life.
- I am not a fussy eater and I also really like vegetable, especially bitter melon. My mouth is
watering every time I think about my grandmother’s steamed bitter melon. This food not only
is so delicious but also is very good for your health as well as your skin.

- At this moment, staying at home and limiting one’s interaction with others is pivotal to curb
the spread of the highly contagious Covid 19 disease. So yesterday, I stayed at home all day
and I learned very hard to prepare well for my Aptis test today.
- Today I have to take an Aptis Test so now I am in the examination room. This room has
many computers and it’s so cold maybe because of the conditioner. There are two proctor
and many candidates who are very attentively doing their exams.
- Today I have to take a competition so I wear quite formally. And it’s so comfortable outside,
not too hot or too cold. I wear a blue T shirts with a black pants, this is my lucky set of
clothes.
- Today I have to take an Aptis Test at Hanoi University of Technology and Science and this
school is so far from my home. So, to avoid unlucky things such as going stray, missing
bus,... I decided to book grab. And a nice Grab driver took me there. He drove carefully and
he also encourage me.
- Well, when it comes to my closest friend, off the top of my head, I would say it’s Hang. We
have been friends since since we was ten years old. She is tall, she has a short pink hair
and a round eyes…
- I live in a small house which is located in Ha Nam province. My house has five room: two
bedroom, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. This is quite small for 5 people in my
family living but it's so cozy. My house is painted by green my favourite color. I had a lot of
wonderful memories in my house so I love it so much.
- On holiday, I usually spend my time coming back home with my family.
- Have you ever read horoscope? Yes, I have read my horoscope some times. It’s quite right
but I think horoscope just is the thing that we can read, we can hear, we can know but we
shouldn't believe in it. Just live and do whatever you want reasonably and carefully, what will
come will come.

II. PART 2

Actually, I am exciting to unwrap a present and see what is, especially the thing I really
desire to have such as a lipstick, clothes or souvenir.
And I also love to give people things as well. I often give them practical present such as
clothing, lipstick, perfume,... Sometimes, I prepare tiny meaningful things for some special
person.

It had been a very long time since the last time I was given a gift. That was on my 19
birthday, I received a bouquet of flowers from my old boyfriend. He showed up surprisingly in
front of my house with a nice lipstick and a small bouquet of flowers. This present is also the

economically developed areas, people use the Internet and mobile devices such as
smartphones and tablets to update news instantly.
Has the news reporting changed in the last fifty years?
Social media as well as the development of science and technology has made a big impact
on news reporting. Now we have much more source providing information and we can get
news easily. But it’s also a chance for the fake news attacking the social. Beside, the
traditional newspapers and television maybe was less popular methods of getting news.
Tell a time you visited a museum
The History Museum is considered a blend of French colonial and traditional Vietnamese
architecture. It exhibit the history of Viet Nam from Prehistory to 1945 Revolution. This is a
nice trip that I heard many interesting story, I can see many things belonging the past.
Through it, I can understand more abt history, I respect more the effort of precedent to
protect our country and bring happy life for us.
Should museum pay fee
Because the museum need money to operate, and money from the guest is a big source.
Everyone just need pay a little money but the museum will receive a huge financial support.
The museums are so important and essential so it’s very worth to do something to maintain
and protect them.
III. Part 3
Tell abt the time that you were your own
I am an introverted person so almost of my time, I always be my own. But when it comes to
a time that I were my own, off the top of my head, it would be the time I didn’t pass the Aptis
Exam. In my school, we need at least B2 to pass the subject but I just gain B1 so I failed.
Now I try again and I really hope that my result will be better.
This time, I was so depressed and disappointed about myself. I regretted that why I didn't
learn efficiently, seriously? My laziness is pay for the expensive fee. I also didn't want to so
anything this time because I feel I am a failure, I am a dude.
Fortunately, this time, my friends and my family always be here with me. They not only didn't
blame for me but also they encouraged me, they make me confident in myself again. And, I
also looked back on everything, I realize that failure is from my subjectivity. Just need I am
careful more, the problem won't be solved. So today I am here and I take the test again
