EXERCISE 12: In many part of the world, it is common for one
parent to stay at home and raise a new born child while the other
works full-time to earn money. Do the advantages of this outweigh the
disadvantages?
In every corner of the world, there is a great number of the family share their
responsibility. While ones spend caring for their child, the others try to have rightly
reasonable income for their living. In my opinion, this trend has more advantages
than disadvantages.

Admittedly, there are still some drawbacks affecting directly to both parents.
One of the serious concerns is that staying at home leads to separation from
society. They can be even afraid to communicate or reserved in the way they
behave with others. Another issue related to the working person is that they can
depend entirely on their partner about housework or attention on their child.

Despite some problems stated above, there are many reasons to do this.
Firstly, one of the evident benefits associated with parents is that the cost to
commute to and from including gas, insurance, an occasional $5 coffee and lunch
out, work clothes can be significantly reduced. Secondly, parenting is a full-time
job. The more time parents spend on work, the less time for their child. Work isn’t
the only thing that will keep them from spending time with their child or costing
more but that can be minimized if one parent stays at home. Thirdly, the child can
experience the best hours with one parent at home during the day with the most
energy. Otherwise, if both parents work full-time, time spending for the child
typically called “bad hours” – time when they aren’t at their best due to tiredness,
hunger, distraction and need alone time to unwind means it is tough to attend the
child.

In conclusion, the benefits of this offer such as the balance between work
and care outweigh any disadvantages associated with them.
