the term. You will always know where you stand in this course by checking Canvas. I will post
announcements for the class on Canvas, so you should check it regularly.

1. If you are repeating this course in order to attempt to earn a better grade than the one given when the
same course was taken earlier, you must submit a course repeat card to the Enrollment Services office
immediately. Otherwise, the earlier low grade will continue to be counted in the GPA.

2. If you are enrolled in this class in order to remedy an incomplete grade given in the same course within
the past year, please consult Enrollment Services (425-388-9210) immediately. It is probable that this is
not an effective plan and will create a mess, as well as cost you extra money.
CLASS CONDUCT
You are expected to treat both your classmates and your instructor with courtesy and respect at all
times. This includes silencing all computers, cell phones and tablets before entering the classroom or
risk being asked to leave the classroom. This includes text messaging and checking your messages.
Disruptive students will be asked to leave the classroom. See the EvCC student handbook for behavior
expectations.

ACADEMIC DISHONESTY
Accidental or intentional use of someone else’s work, ideas, research, or writing without attribution of
the source will result in a failing grade on the assignment or a failing grade in the course. This decision
will be dependent on the nature and extent of the use. Any incidents of this type will be reported to the
Dean of Student Development as a violation of the Student Conduct Code. Click here to access the
Student Rights and Responsibilities handbook at the EvCC website.
