planning, antenatal and safe delivery care, post-natal care, services to prevent

diagnosis and treatment of reproductive health illnesses including breast and

4. Why the issue of SRH mostly occurs in developing countries?

 Because This is seen most acutely in developing countries, where reproductive


health problems are a leading cause of ill health and death for women and girls of
childbearing age. Impoverished women suffer disproportionately from unintended
pregnancies, unsafe abortion, maternal death and disability, sexually transmitted
infections (STIs), gender-based violence, and other related problems.

5. What is meant by unintended pregnancy?


 Unintended pregnancy can result from contraceptive failure, non-use of
contraceptive services, and, less commonly, rape. Abortion is a frequent
consequence of unintended pregnancy and, in the developing world, can result in
serious, long-term negative health effects including infertility and maternal death.
